You can get either one and be happy. Tube amp is bass, lower bass centric while naim is fast and treble centric. Both are excellent and if funds allow best to have a tube and SS amp for different type of music.
First of all, the Heritage Special speaks for itself as most people know how good they sound. But, I have to give credit to the great choice of matching here. In my opinion, any Dynaudio model due to its more neutral to slightly laid back nature would sound better with a more lively amp such as the Naim here in this case.
I love this combination, I have the same but with the 200/202 combination which I think is still better than the SN3. Do you use any Roon upscaling or just let the NDX2 do it?
@@TranThien73 Similar sound but Phantom is very much better at most things. It's a good upgrade. I have both and once I installed the Phantom, I never missed the NACA5.
@@TranThien73 I also have the cables and jumpers. 1) Took more or less 3 months to ship. 2) Jumpers were forgotten when they shipped the cable. Had to wait some more to receive the jumper. In the meantime I used the metal links. If the jumpers made any diference, I can't tell. The cable made a difference. Make sure you remind them not to forget the jumpers.
Heritage Specials are extremely special, very nice

The Heritage Special isn’t laid back at all, so neutral amplification is recommended. I use a Hegel H390.
sounds awesome
Wow, are you also using the Sotm?
it's much more fun with the supernate than with the nait 2 power problem can be

Hi, thanks for the comment. I prefer no upsampling from Roon.
I don't do any upsampling at all. I prefer bit-perfect.
Who's the singer? Very nice
Almost the perfect loudspeaker, lacks only a little more bottom end extension.
Yes if you add a pair of subs they are sublime
TeddyXPS is for NDX2 ?
Cables?
Witch Hat Audio Phantom cables.
@@prestigehifibangkok how do this speaker cable compare with Naim Nac A5?
