they can take longer on the project with not as much content though, and if the pricing is right it would be acceptable. A good example is Trepang2, triple AAA graphics but not as much content cheap and loved by many who have already bought it.

@@Canadia_nhomie4 I use unreal engine and this looks like it uses very heavy assets for a moderate PC to handle, which typically built for short cinematics and are not well optimized enough for a game. Looks really good so far. I noticed all the plant life is not prehistoric though, I'm not sure if that will change in the future, but it might help add to the feeling of a prehistoric environment a bit more. Then again, I'm not sure of the plot behind this game, if the wildlife was created and brought to the island, like in Jurassic Park or if it's supposed to be a land that time forgot sort of deal. The large bugs are kind of and interesting addition, since the only way those were possible in the Carboniferous period was due to a freakishly high oxygen content in Earth's atmosphere at the time. Bugs breathe through large holes along their bodies, they don't really have lungs the way we do, instead they have a network of tubes that run through their body, so it became beneficial for them to grow to such large sizes, if you were to bring some of the large bugs from the Carboniferous forward to our time they would probably suffocate. It makes me wonder what elae the game will have in it though, hopefully trilobites, ammonites, and other forms of prehistoric sea life.

This games technical performance looks impressive for what I can only imagine is a significantly smaller team behind it. I have a couple of issues though. The first is that it doesn't seem to really show any direction. Theres no understanding of what the goal is here other than to show dinosaurs and gunplay. Its cool, but is it really enough to sell a game? for some, maybe, but is it a survival game? story driven game? Is it just a sandbox of Dinos and Mercs? is there other elements, like is this a place discovered, are we transported back in time? Is there a reason why we are in this setting other than just that it's cool (which it is cool)? I understand using Far Cry and Crysis as an inspiration, but both had a direction for both production and player urgency, but neither we know of nor is it shown here. Another thing I worry about when it comes to animal behavior and AI in games, specifically but not limited to dinosaurs, is how are we expecting them to behave. Like is it a very simplistic AI system like in ARK? Only aggressive behavior like in Dino Crisis that is more limited to specific events, rather than random encounters? Do they interact with one another? Do they interact with the enemy forces we seem to be confronting in the video? Is there a release date or roadmap for understanding time frames for this game? I know its a lot of question, but when you release almost 10 minutes of gameplay, but nothing is really answered, that shows cause for concern. Like is this just another cool looking vertical sliced gameplay trailer independently made, never to release game, that we always see in those compilation videos?
Looks like all of those TBH lol. Most modern games are like this nowadays.
