33:20 he died because earlier you had picked the perk that makes you attack for 10 if you dodge, you had 891 strength and dealt 901 damage for each attack you dodged which checks out
When you have a tentacle, move it back and fourth fast so you se the arms split up a bit before dropping it, then it will act a lot more like its in water. For magnet claw you can make it swing making most items attach on one side so they dont fall out of the collection area and you will get more out of the magnet range
I love this new character even though she cant make it into high waves due to being unreliable. Still waiting to see another broken run from dex abusing stenght to absolutely destroy his enemies😄
While I love the idea of swapping around strength and block, every full swap you only increase the amount by 1.33 and that while block and strength doublers are also available and don’t need to align perfectly. But it was still a very entertaining video and fun idea to try out
I think the block/strength swappers would work way better, if they exchanged half of block/strength into the other one with the ratio they have; then you would be increasing overall block/strength everytime, and having them in the machine would not mean you risk loosing all your block by accident when you need it.
wait so if you could retake the brass knuckles every time, would'nt you be invincible with around 10 of them? 5 if golden: 10 dodge means that if every normal enemy attacks 3 times, you would STILL have a dodge left for an additional effect i kinda wanna see that play out now lmao
The issue with brass knuckles mostly is the size. It's a bit iffy to get all of them in, even with magnet claws, because they like to stick to the walls. But yes, you could theoretically never take any damage from the enemies again. The only way to then die is by self-inflicted damage, or the enemy just clocking up your items with other useless stuff, so you can't get to the brass knuckles.
4:10 Ah, I really wish Dex would wiggle the tentacle claw back and forth, it can grab way more that way. Though I wonder if he doesn’t do that for a reason?
7:54 I know dex said the damage didn't go up on the bomb, but it really goes up by 5 to all enemies because it's now 15 damage per turn compared to 10. If it went up to say 45 damage after 2 turns, that is over 100% increase in damage
Imagine you pick out 1 bomb every turn. Do this for 10 turns. Case A is only golden, Case B is only normal. Over the course of 10 turns: Case 1 will deal 8x30=240 damage Case 2 will deal 7x30=210 damage If you just compare 1 golden bomb to a non-golden bomb, then yea it's nice that it's average damage per turn goes up from 10 to 15. But if you compare it's actual damage output, it barely changed. And you are forced to wait 2 enemy attacks, which usually means if you can wait 2, you can also wait 3 without an issue. Meanwhile most other weapons gain a 50-100% damage increase. Like let's compare a normal Dagger for this: Just 1 on 1 it goes from 5 to 10 damage. Over 10 turns, it would deal 50 damage, the golden version 100. In both cases it's damage is doubled. And that's the case for almost all weapons, with the exception of poison since that one has a stacking effect. If we look at the Poison Dagger, it's damage goes from 5 to 7 and it's poison from 3 to 6. Over 10 turns: Normal: 50 Damage + 21 Poison but 120 bonus damage from the poison dealt, Total: 170 (with 21 stacks) Golden: 70 Damage + 51 Poison but 285 bonus damage from the poison dealt, Total: 355 (with 51 stacks) So despite not even doubling (5+3 vs 7+6 = 8 vs 13), it's damage output is still more than doubled at that period (which, to be fair, is unrealistically long, but my main point is that you can't just isolate a case and judge based on that)
@@Darchias greatsword goes from 10 to 20. I'd probably offer a boost of damage and time taken, perhaps blowing up at the start of the turn so you may have less targets to attack during your turn when it triggers. Maybe not double Damage, because the activation time is reduced but. Wait. What if instead, upgraded bombs gain 20% bonus pre-stength damage for every other bomb buff on the player. Or we get a Bombardier relic doing the same. So we can make bombs scale harder in endless. So with 5 bomb effects on your character all bombs activating that turn deal 60 damage instead of thirty, and you can grab more bombs to stack more buffs. Compounding bombs. It would even encourage a mix of golden and normal bombs, because the longer lasting buffs would compound harder but golden bombs would deal damage more quickly.
The slime boss deals 95 damage 18:30 The game must have glitched making dodge into reflect and the strength must have added with the attack killing the slime somehow, and it also did it twice some how?, that’s the best explanation I’ve got Atleast 33:19
Once for the attack and once for the poison application perhaps. Both "reflects" hit for 901. basic attack 10 plus 891 strength. Gonna get the devs scratching their heads for a while
He had the perk that does 10 damage every time you dodge an attack, and 891 strength. Dodging the poison application is separate to the attack itself so he dodges twice, each doing 901 damage.
Have you ever tried going endless with a pure strength/dodge build? Now that the brass knuckles come back every turn it's actually possible! As long as you can get at least 3-4 of them each turn you should be able to avoid basically everything, especially if you get the perk the lets you carry over dodges from one turn to the next.
Can you do a full armour run with the retain block guy? I know you kinda already did, but I'm talking about filling the machine with metal armour bits (helmets, gauntlets, body armours, shields), and metal weapons (big swords, hammers), and a bunch of magnets. Maybe shrinkflation as well, just to see how crazy it can get when you grab 20 armour items at once.
Does the bonus magnetism boost the magnet claws? If so, is it possible to have a magnet claw so powerful it just picks everything up as it moves towards the prize shoot? It could certainly be interesting to see a magnet build without the magnet item.
The devs are overthinking it. All they have to do is cap bargain at 50% during the first 20 levels. After level 20 the cap comes off, they don't need a sandbox mode. However if the devs don't bring back 5 bargain that's fine too. If someone told me a few years ago that the best 2 games that's came out in years was an RPG that takes place inside of a claw machine and potatoes going to war with aliens packing nuclear weapons I would have questioned their sanity.
feel like it may have worked better if only the drinks pills and defensive items were metal may not have made it as far but would have atleast been able to avoid accidental kills a bit easier
i don't understand the reason for switching between block and strength. It seemed like a bad way of multiplying those stats. It seems focusing on block and then have a non metallic switck to strenght before an attack would make more sense.
Why do I, as a swede, always feel like Dex is cursing me in most videos? Then again, it was like 25 years ago I last studied german in school so I might just be wrong.
I really like the Channel and this content but honestly the minacle laugh whenever you get an item or grab you like is going to lead me at least to stop watching…

I'm sorry that you're not feeling well dex! I hope you feel better soon
Dang, you best me to it! I was also gonna say that!
Anyways, I hope you feel better soon, Dex.
I think we all are hoping he will be good again soon! Loved the video anyways!
That sound at the end really made me laugh.
Get better soon!
Love this series, you always make it so fun with your commentary

@DexTag yeah when you put it that way it does suck
When the changed bombs they also allowed STR to add to it, so it does multiply your STR just like the greatsword

A water and tentacle claw could be an interesting run.. The water makes the tentacles spread out.. 💚
Kajaahboom and flaboom are very nice sound effects there dex. Very Creative. 😂

Lol the laughing at 27:00 got me laughing too 😂
Dex using strategy equivalent to "spray and pray" XD
No need for an apology for being sick. Hope you get well soon. 😊
DEX! Please play "Pip my dice"
Its brotato and yahtzee mixed. And OH MY GURSH it's fun 😂
Honestly I didn’t notice a thing and wouldn’t know if you said nothing about it
Feel better son Dex!
Haven't watched it but i am sure it will be great.
Its seems the tentacle is. Better for magnet builds than the magnet claw.
Live the crawler vids brotha

feel like it may have worked better if only the drinks pills and defensive items were metal may not have made it as far but would have atleast been able to avoid accidental kills a bit easier
now i want to see a full luck run with every item being of rsndom event
"Welcome back to R and G simulator, today..."
You should try "Skip Turn"
Wiggle yer tentacles just before dropping and they will spread and grab more stuff.
Dex why are you making a video while sick? You deserve the time to get better! I'm fine waiting an extra day for a new dex video
That is insane
The ultimate gambling build u never nknow on what it's gonna end up strength or block XD
Please transmute the whetstone and hand into something that isn't magnetic. That way you don't pick them up with the magnet.

Funny, He is always sick. Finally got a physical disease to blame it on eh? :)
I went to the bathroom at 33:58 and then thought my audio was messed up 💀
you should record episodes ahead of time so that when you are sick, you have episodes still go up from a backlog while you get better
When cookies and antidotum only run?
🔥🔥🔥

I think switching repeated allows for exponential scaling. Hard to match that
@@1TieDye1 isnt it like 2:1 and 1:3? together that is 1.5 times increse. trippling the armor or even doubling strenght on its own should be stronger.
GWS 👍
You need poison resistance

"Alter Schwede" is actually an outcry of excitement or being impressed :D I dont know where it comes from, but its quite common here
Can someone tell me if it's a specific key that unlocks her or is it random run to run?
It was like 5 seconds ago you took the weakling man 17:16
I just can't figure out if he's German and speaks English, or English and speaks German?
He’s German and speaks english
What you're hearing is a German accent...
