Shows how to clear a D02-532 error from a Risograph drum in an RZ220. The twist is that this is an RZ3 drum in a machine that normally uses a RZ2 drum.
what button on the top of the Riso to you click at 2:26 to release the drum? I recently got a riso and its a RZ 220 UI ... i think the same as yours... The #5 section on the riso is red and the Check Settings light is red... So I am trying to see why the #5 area is not working correct. I am completely new to riso and excited to try and fix this machine and actually start using it! Thanks!
Hi @Mr03luke, At 2:26, I'm pressing the button labeled "wake up". That typically releases the drum latch. You can also press the "Print drum release" button that is next to the print drum and it should release the drum latch. As for the #5 section light, this usually indicates the disposal box for the masters is either full or has some problem related to that area. Try emptying the master disposal box and see if that helps.
Thank You for this video, it is very helpful. I have the Same Problem with my EZ200, and the seller asured me, the drum would fit in my printer, but I get the same error Code. I already ran the Test mode but I don‘t know the number for the size. Where can I find it?
Hi @annikafricke8565, if you can find technical bulletin RZT-002 somewhere online, it lists the codes for the paper sizes. Just in case you can't find the bulletin online, I'll include the RZ2 and RZ3 codes here below. thank you for your video, I wanted to ask if I change the drum size, would the machine remember the previouse drum size if I put it back or I would have to reprogramm it again and how can I find codes for EZ201? or would it be the same az for RZ200? thank you!
I think I missunderstood something, in your video "clearing D02-532 error" you actualy changed the size of the drum, but looking at the drum it was for bigger siza paper, but how can it be used in a machine for a smaller size paper if the master tame is still for smaller size paper!? the problem I am trying to solve is I bought the spare drum for using a different color on my EZ201 E, I am doing 117,890,887 codes to install it but after making master it stops (it makes longer master) and when I turn it off and turn back on it gives me D02-532 error again, the drum screan itself is longer than my other drum screans!? Is it possible to make some videochat so I could show you!? the drum wasn't cheap anв I feel like I wasted money since I can't get it work! Thank you!
@@igorshteiner445 I'm not familiar with your EZ201 machine so I can't provide any useful information. In regards to using a drum meant for larger paper, I merely set the drum size to the smaller size my RZ220 supports. The extra part of the master is wasted but at least I don't have a drum I can't use. Sorry I can't be of much help in this case.
