Pop rock is my favourite music. However, I don't know if this song is actually pop rock or not. Most sources call this song electropop, but I notice some pop rock influences here. Maybe that's why "Rock Bottom" becomes my favourite song by her.
I hope Hailee will make a pop rock album or EP in the future, maybe something like 2000s stuffs by Avril Lavigne, P!nk, Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson and Ashlee Simpson. Thanks to Olivia Rodrigo, pop rock has been making a comeback.

I was listening to this song a few days ago and my mother commented how she likes these kinds of songs. Songs which are happy and joyful and have energy, but are not the kind which are sung powerfully. Like, you know how usually happy songs are either very soft are either very loud? This is neither. This is just light. When she said that, I realised that I don't have any other song with the same kind of feel as this song. My playlist mostly defines happy songs as either very loud and powerful or very soft and calm. I was wondering why I did not have any of those kinds of songs in my playlist. That was when I realised that these days people do not release such kinds of songs anymore. I would love it if they start again, because this kind of feeling is a completely different one. Happy, but light yet energetic. The kinds of songs which make you want to half close your eyes, smile and either run or raise your hands high. But I did find a few, which I have arranged in the order of most "half close your eyes, smile and either run or raise your hands high" to least. But none of them had the exact kind of emotion I was looking for.
