Hey Josh just for future reference, that’s a different “Holy Cross”. Holy Cross College, the one in South Bend across the street from Notre Dame and that Rudy attended, doesn’t have a football team. The team Syracuse is playing called The College of the Holy Cross and is in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Honestly, at this point, the fact that he lost his and had it taken away is bigger in my mind than him actually winning it, believe it or not. Last year, the NCAA via the iarp, took a whole bunch of Ws and a Final Four banner from KU. It was roundball but it happened just months ago. The fans still remember it, but reporters are still saying uk is the winningest program as a result.

Are coaches talking directly to players on other teams or are they going through agents/sponsors/etc.? I don’t feel bad for coaches but, at same time, it’s definitely harder to build winning culture at lower tier programs when best players leave right away.

Here's one for you, sir, that I'd love to see discussed: what is the straw that will break the insanity camel's back in college football? What will be the one thing that FINALLY gets us a college football commissioner, revenue sharing (or flat out making players employees), etc etc etc.? Will it be this transfer portal cycle, or will it have to get far worse before anyone does anything?

I’m a die hard Michigan fan living with die hard Ohio (yes them) and ND fans. I’m convinced the natty will be Ohio vs Georgia, as well as ND being a one loss team at most in the regular season. Do you think I, as a Michigan fan, have a chance to see Michigan make the CFP even if we go 9-3 with losses to Texas, Oregon, and Ohio? Also, how do you feel about ND and the potential for them to lose more than one game because their schedule as of March seems pretty weak…

Yep anyone who wants to say coaches move whenever, kids should be able too also, that’s fair but make those kids sign a contract, that keeps them at that school for x amount of time for x amount of money.
As a fan, its hard to care about signing day, and spring ball when I know everything is going to blow up when the transfer portal opens. It basically forces the most committed fans to either tune out from January- September or puts them on a hamster wheel where most of the news is just irrelevant by the time the season kicks off.
Rhule will need to fire shatterfield. Once he gets a new O Coordinator, they will improve by 3 or more games

According to pate, the position group in question is one where the coaches knew they were gonna lose guys before April.
