Im 44 back on a board after 15 years and a serious car crash and 18 fractures later i back i can no longer go ham but just pushing again makes me smile plus i used to skate goofy and had to relearn to skate regular cos of the pins in my leg (i cant help but push mongo now lol) but your style is my influence .....and just caught my first fakie flip ( would have been nollie 20 years ago lol)

It’s freaking awesome how he skates. Old-school shapes like I grew up with, I still try to replicate the old-school shapes in my boards, Christopher is an awesome dude, super artistic, and he RIPS 💯🔥🤙🏼😎

Very true. I live in an isolated town of 2000 people and I am the only person who skates. These guys are literally everything to me: motivation, inspiration, mentoring and fellowship. Lately, things have been a bit rough for me. Without the likes of Chris and Andy I probably wouldn't be here.

I recently got back into skating after over 12 years off the board. Nigel, Chris, and Andy are my 3 biggest influences. The positivity and good vibes make it easier for a beginner like me to get out of my comfort zone. Keep the great content coming 🤘
I’m in the same boat! 14 years between and got back into it late 2019. Chris, Andy, and Nigel are absolutely at the top of the list for why it’s been so great getting back into it. :)

So rad to see them bringing back the big boards. I hated when popsicles came out in the early 90s but reluctantly went with it for 20 years until all the reissues came out. Seeing skaters shred on them now is so sick and Hiett is one of the best…and he’s such a great person to show how punk skating used to be…and should be….before it sold out to X games and Mountain Dew.

I wish more people remembered about the skate roots. But 30-40 years ago skateboarding was a counterculture, while nowadays it's became mainstream.

To Chris: The first time I saw him (was on this channel, I think) he stood out just because of his punk rockiness. I am a bourgeois punk. I admit it. But When I saw him skate... I was like: yup... He's legit. He dresses like he skates, he skates like he dresses. HE stood out by being different. He's the anti-hero. Love him!

Your style is rad and your OG gangster old school style 80’s boards are so kick ass! Most guys these days can’t roll with those old flat back, round nose stile hoards but you ride it like a popsicle boards effortlessly! Right on bro! Keep it real !!! I’ve been in the skate world since ‘86. You ever want to skate I’d love to hit the park if you’re ever in the area of Ventura / LA/ riverside ! There’s some awesome parks that stay open as late as 8 and 10 pm lit up!

Pro tip: if you're going to go out and intentionally buy a utility knife for cutting grip tape & stickers, buy one that has a quick change feature for the blades. It's worth the extra $4-$5, they store a half dozen extra blades & can be changed in seconds.

One of the things I absolutely love about skateboarding is the multi culturalism. It is truly beautiful....beautiful as skating itself. Hard to believe anybody has ever considered skating a white boy sport. I have heard people say this before.

I’ve got the same deck… tail side truck is 8”, nose side is 8.75 or so…. What trucks should I get that have the six hole pattern? Would Indy 169s fit?
