Yeonjun’s desperate sprint sets the tone, mirroring a frantic escape from unseen forces, while the shattered backdrop hints at a world ravaged by chaos. As the lyrics unfurl, poignant lines like ‘I run away countless times just out of fear, leaving you waiting at the starting line’ evoke a sense of raw vulnerability and longing.
The use of the expression 'deja vu' in the song can be interpreted as a metaphor for the feeling of familiarity and predestination in the encounter with the other. They also have a webtoon "The star seekers". The story of the webtoon is tied with the lore of the mvs, but not completely the same, if it makes sense. There are definitely a lot of same elements, but while in the webtoon they are used to tell the fictional story about five fictional characters, in the MVs they're used to tell the story about five real boys growing up. In the MV Deja vu there are many references to their webnovel The Star Seekers.
