The first question in a common Bangladeshi's mind (specially in these days of pandemic) might occur is: "এই আপাকে এরকম অবস্থায় , রাতের ঘুম মেরে এতো কষ্ট করে ক্লিপ আপলোড করে ব্রীথিং এক্সারসাইজ করার বুদ্ধি দিলো কোন ডাক্তার !!? " But, if you guys listen carefully, with every correct word pronunciation she pitched, her tone got sharper, the accent was delectable, intonation got precise, making each one of them a perfect delivery, Ma shaa Allah!! Trust me, folks, that's exactly the top-level dedication needed for anyone like me and many others from a Bengali Medium Schooling background out of Dhaka to actually acquire pleasant-sounding correct English speaking proficiency. What do we normally do in our efforts to getting anywhere near to this level? Reading English Daily, listening to BBC and CNN, spend some hours on youtube content, on improving "English as a Foreign Language" (Ring any bells, Guys !!?) of British or United States origin. But, do we really come across such very handy short clips every now and then, that very precisely point out our common mispronunciation of common English words, explained in our mother tongue, Bangla, by a person who undoubtedly worked in detail targeting this community !!? She must have had a fairly long time researching this specific problem. Personally, I never thought a Bangladeshi content in a Bangladeshi youtube channel would be so effectively useful to improve my English. Now, I don't regret that much for my Bengali medium background.. Had I come across such a guide/teacher/instructor some 30-34 years back, I think I could stand in per with my mother side cousins from well off families reading in those English medium schools in Dhaka and Chittagong, like Scholastica, Aga Khan, Green Herald and others. Those kids used to carry Archy, Betty and Veronica with their textbooks in their school bags, another astonishment in the eyes of kids like me in those days !!! But, as I said no regrets now, Al Hhamdulillah.
