A way to keep your scissors from wandering away, is to invest in some very small locks. when your scissors aren’t in use the little lot goes up on top between it one of the holes for your hands then you click it down and no one can take the scissors because they won’t open. My children when they were younger much much younger knew where Mom kept sewing scissors, when they needed them. At that time I remember saving up to get Ganger shears. They were the best. I had three pairs that were only for fabric. And then one day I found one gone and it was after that time that someone suggested the scissors method to me so here I will do is pass it on. Just need a little silly, kinda like you’d put on your suitcase, you didn’t think the TSA was gonna tear it off in two seconds. But it save me a lot of money and replacing really really good shears.

Hahahaha. I know right. Little hands that use our precious scissors. Hence I buy cheapies to have them around the house to keep them away from my good stuff. Thanks for the tip and I appreciate the story to support the reasoning!
