Ringsang is broken because of his ease of play, doesn’t require a lot of set up and works in like, pretty much every singe comp. manager don is great…..if you are using a bleed team….with blood fiends….and requires some ramp up which is heavily favored nowadays manager don is an extremely good id but I imagine nothing really can dethrone ringsang
Food for thought. If the whip is kinda useless, or if the opponent is already low from bleed and will die anyway, Sancho's enhance defense skill is actually pretty good. Gives your fiends dmg mitigation and a shield that absorbs bleed and converts it to feast. I like it a lot after playing around with it
I still dont get the shield part tbh, like. isn't half of the reason bloodfiend inflict self bleed is just incase of "funny eat self bloodfeast" type thing? and they immediately just heal it off after the attack too?
@@shin_nasrash normally if a shield eats bleed, it doesn't convert to feast stacks as the damage isn't actually taken. It's just an extra layer of defense, equivalent to a max HP boost rather than a straight up shield that limits a few mechanics.
I have a lot of thoughts to share about this ID, both for people that plan on getting her, and for people that already have her so... YAP WARNING. She is, to put it simply, amazing, a really strong ID, i wouldn't say she's gamebreaking or anything like that, her count infliction isn't really that high, and her empowered skills (except S3) depend on having the other bloodfiends on your team, which some people didn't really like as you are not getting the "Full ID" right off the bat, but she's still one of my favourites so far, but i'll still share some of my thoughts about what makes the ID good/bad. Her passive is similar to Princess Rodion's ("Allies take bleed damage or consume bloodfeast = Gain Blooming Torn, but with Hardblood), however, unlike Rodion, her passive does NOT need sin resources to activate, meaning you have it on at all times, and since you won't be getting a lot of bloodfeast at the start of a fight, the other Bloodfiend ID's will trigger their skills effects ("If this unit did not consume bloodfeast, gain X bleed."), making them take bleed damage and allow Don to build up Hardblood, without the need for Bloodfeast. The responsability passive is difficult to obtain, but since you get dead allies attack slots in chain battles (which the new md is full off) i can see her making some last second carries when you are about to lose. The empowered skills are good, but also, not so much? I mean, not only do you need the respective bloodfiend ID's on your team to get them, but the rolls for the S1 & S2 are a also a bit underwhelming without conditionals (13/19) and around (25/36) for S3, which is really good. Skill 1 gives you 20 bleed, you can't die because of bleed dmg with it, but Don already has really low max hp, (around 174), sending you really close to her stagger bar, a problem ppl already have with Priest Gregor getting staggered on turn 2. However, based on Hardblood, you also inflict additional bleed potency, allowing you to apply up to 8 bleed potency with just one skill, (good, perhaps really good, but not crazy good.) Skill 2 absolutely devours your Hardblood stacks, like seriously, you can go from 30 to 0 and not get them back until a few turns later. On the other hand however, the attack weight is really good, but base S2 also has it, doesn't devour your Hardblood, and rolls higher than the empowered version (16/20). The empowered S3's bleed count is okay? Like, 8 potency and 4 count is good, but not only do you need to build up hardblood first, you also gotta roll a S3 on your leftmost slot, when you can just use KK Ryoshu or Ring Outis for count with their S2's. (Having Ring Outis means no Empowered S2 btw),but due to the reasons i mentioned before, it might not be a bad trade off. And KK Ryoushu is outdated anyways (doesn't mean she's bad.) Other than that, she hits really hard, her empowered S3 rolling up to 33 with conditionals is crazy, specially with all those coins (you can stagger with the first few coins and then do high damage with the rest.) And lastly, her clashable counter, having on demand bleed count looks really good, but it's on a counter skill, meaning that if the enemy is staggered, or not clashing your counter skill then you can't use it, (and clashes reduce bleed count so it's most likely end up being count neutral, or count positive if you use the empowered version.). However, it also works like Princess Rodion's S3, more buffing allies based on resonance, if you have 30 hardblood, alongside over 500 bloodfeast consumed, and a 6+ resonance, you can shield all your allies for 50 points, which is a lot. Overall, i can get why some people don't see her value for bleed teams outside MD, but in my opinion, some ID's don't need to focus necessarily focus on a status effect, for example, with Bloodfiends, instead of stacking a lot of bleed and making the enemy bleed to death, you want to consume bloodfeast and empower them to deal more dmg. And yes, i know you get Bloodfeast from dealing bleed damage, but with Manager Don's S3 and passive, you can get a lot of Bloodfeast on kill or part break, plus she won't be eating away all the Bloofeast she gains (with passive and S3 kills your max out your Hardblood in no time), Priest Gregor doesn't need to consume bloodfeast, he just needs to survive long enough to heal with his passive and provide the team with bloodfeast, and with Princess Rodion giving heal to allies with skills when at full HP, and Shimmering bloodfiend from Don, he'll last even more. Rodion doesn't consume much bloodfeast with skills, so she won't be a problem either, she just wants high lust res. when using S3 in order to buff the other Bloodfiends and apply Blooming Thorn and you can always use her counter if your units accumulated too much bleed potency, (enemy inflics count, for example), to keep them from bleeding to death, and if she's staggered? Don's passive. And lastly, Barber Outis, she's the one who will be consuming bloodfeast constantly and in high quantities, she'll starve at first, but once Don and Rodion had their fill she'll ramp up in no time. I'd also put bloodfiend teams over regular bleed teams anytime when it comes to long boss battles and RR, not only will they get stronger the longer the fight goes on, since you start some fights with no sanity, you are bound to lose some clashes, but they can quickly heal back up with their self heal, keeping themselves away from a stagger bar or healing small amounts of chip damage taken. Overrall, I'd give her a 8.7, higher if she's with all the other Bloodfiends due to her dmg and utility for the team in general, probably around 9.4. That's all, if you read this far, then good for you, your attention span isn't completely screwed yet.
Though it's the count that is the issue here. I agree that you can do well without Bleed, but it'll definitely help a lot to build their power even more, and the difference in getting stonk in turn 5 vs turn 9 or 10 could mean a lot in some cases. And it'll help to balance the feast cycle without it being in a dangerously small amount due to barber inflation thirst. If you just using four of them without anyone, then bleed count is terrible unless you had Sanguine desire, and even then, it also costs quite the resources. I don't have hope that a Daddy don ID would be released considering ya know, but I do hope for a casetti ID as a way to help the count (I do wish if he'll ever get released, he'll be count positives just like xichung)

Though I kinda like the Empowered S1 as a concept, Gregor is more than capable of providing bloodfeast, so using it ends up being superfluous and even support-wise, the Empowered Counter is better(except the start when there's too little bloodfeast to turn into shielding, so I guess one could argue Empowered S1 helps expedite getting out of that start) and can be used whenever you get past the 15 hardblood threshold. Personally I think Manager Don could benefit in a few ways from being able to choose when she wants to empower her skill(without resorting to ego), for example not going for empowers would keep her hardblood maxed so she can let the other kindred snack up faster while keeping her own buffs up and not being forced to discard them, though I understand if the intention is that bringing the whole family is meant to be a sidegrade, trading away hardblood upkeep in favour of more versatile options.

Also, I'd argue that their Egos are meant to supplement for boss IDs, as both Legerdemain and Rhyme Shank are Egos based on their Cantos' final bosses, that being abnormalities.
Cinq Don got 25% of total damage dealt on my Bloise te because I manage to let her spam Mircalla with bloody mist. Using Manager Don in a bloodfiend team and it's not even close
No it’s actually insane. I got 1944 predicted damage one time. *predicted* damage. The actual damage was 1968 in TWO COINS. The enemy (dulcinea) obviously died after that, but I think I might’ve hit ~5000 damage if the full attack landed, considering the 2.5x damage multiplier from clear mirror. The highest damage I’ve gotten prior was ~1200 damage with wild hunt. What the fuck is with this ID. Why can she do 5000 damage.
I'm gonna Shard Barber soon, in the next Wal I'm definitely going to get Red Eyes to complete the Best Bleed Team. I tried to roll for Ring Sang but got one of his best Ego and 2 other IDs instead so I had to shard him. I'm going to buy all the really good value packs of pulls to recover for Wal lol.

For support passives, get either base gregor or g corp gregor, plus other healing passives you can get your hands on (chef ryoshu, barber outis and lantern don are good ones to keep in mind) For the run itself, pick the starting buffs that give you levels and permanent damage up, protection and clash power, since they vastly improve on your survivability. Also, try to pick a starting floor that either has weak enemies or that use a damage type you resist. The canto 1 and 2 packs are usually what you're aiming for, but you can also go for the canto 3 packs if your id of choice is really tanky (which, in your case, is) Lastly, try to get as many healing ego gifts as possible. The big ones are Painkillers, Homeward and First Aid Kit. There's also a new EGO gift exclusive to Dregs of The Mannor which lets you ignore stagger once, but i'd reccomend you stay away from that pack since the enemies there are pretty much solo killers. Don't bother with fusion gifts since most of them require multiple sinners on the field, but the basic tier 4 ego gifts are good to go.
The 2 Bleed Fusion(Bloody Mist, Hemorrhagic Shock) The 2 Poise Fusion(Lucky Pouch, Cask Spirits) The 3 BL Pack Tier IV, 1 is a Fusion(Unbending, Old Dope Robe, Ragged Bamboo Hat) Clear Mirror And Artistic Sense There is probably more but those are the ones I counted
U need welp another bloodfiend ofc (if u talk about s1 and s2) and at certain hardblood her s3 will have unbreakable (basically upgrade just like any bloodfiend id)

Hey Serminimus, ive been testing mdh for a quite a while, and came to the conclusion that for some reason with almost all statuses its the best to get their fusions, t4 gifts, and lunar memory on top of that instead of usual poise + charge. I may be wrong, but id appreciate it if you made a comparison between these builds and determine whichever does more dmg.
@EJS-jj8pyyou don't have to get toooooooo lucky just stockpile gifts and get a super shop all it takes is the memories and two fragments which you might find on the way to a super shop
@EJS-jj8py from my experience, you can, easily. So long as you take the 10 cost buff from grace that gives you cost, focus on getting the higher tier gifts from the floors, don't spend way too much rerolling for fusions, and, if lucky, get urn/milepost for even more cost, you can guarantee double super shop by floor 4 and 5, and with many components, it's easy to get lunar memory. I'd say it's like 80% as consistent.

If you don't level your IDs they will lose every clash Leveling is important If your the character level is lower than the recommended level You will have a hard time

No it’s actually insane. I got 1944 predicted damage one time. *predicted* damage. The actual damage was 1968 in TWO COINS. The enemy (dulcinea) obviously died after that, but I think I might’ve hit ~5000 damage if the full attack landed, considering the 2.5x damage multiplier from clear mirror. The highest damage I’ve gotten prior was ~1200 damage with wild hunt. What the fuck is with this ID. Why can she do 5000 damage.

is there any video that helps with solos? like what pack to pick and what not? trying dieci rodion and got annihilated against robots in the 3rd pack. anything you can recommend?
For support passives, get either base gregor or g corp gregor, plus other healing passives you can get your hands on (chef ryoshu, barber outis and lantern don are good ones to keep in mind)
For the run itself, pick the starting buffs that give you levels and permanent damage up, protection and clash power, since they vastly improve on your survivability. Also, try to pick a starting floor that either has weak enemies or that use a damage type you resist. The canto 1 and 2 packs are usually what you're aiming for, but you can also go for the canto 3 packs if your id of choice is really tanky (which, in your case, is)
Lastly, try to get as many healing ego gifts as possible. The big ones are Painkillers, Homeward and First Aid Kit. There's also a new EGO gift exclusive to Dregs of The Mannor which lets you ignore stagger once, but i'd reccomend you stay away from that pack since the enemies there are pretty much solo killers. Don't bother with fusion gifts since most of them require multiple sinners on the field, but the basic tier 4 ego gifts are good to go.

U need welp another bloodfiend ofc (if u talk about s1 and s2) and at certain hardblood her s3 will have unbreakable (basically upgrade just like any bloodfiend id)
She gets additional hardblood everytime an ally consumes bloodfeast or gains bleed

Hey Serminimus, ive been testing mdh for a quite a while, and came to the conclusion that for some reason with almost all statuses its the best to get their fusions, t4 gifts, and lunar memory on top of that instead of usual poise + charge. I may be wrong, but id appreciate it if you made a comparison between these builds and determine whichever does more dmg.
There is no way you can comfortably fuse lunar memory in most mdh5 runs.. right?
@EJS-jj8pyyou don't have to get toooooooo lucky just stockpile gifts and get a super shop all it takes is the memories and two fragments which you might find on the way to a super shop
You can fuse lunar memory relatively consistently at [super shops] considering tier 3/4 ego gifts + 2 tier 2 ego gifts= tier 4 of choice.

@EJS-jj8py from my experience, you can, easily. So long as you take the 10 cost buff from grace that gives you cost, focus on getting the higher tier gifts from the floors, don't spend way too much rerolling for fusions, and, if lucky, get urn/milepost for even more cost, you can guarantee double super shop by floor 4 and 5, and with many components, it's easy to get lunar memory. I'd say it's like 80% as consistent.
