The story of the life journey of the Imam of the Hambali School from childhood to becoming a great cleric of the world.
The Hambali school or Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, or known as Imam Hambali, is an expert on hadith and Islamic theology who has an interesting life story: * Imam Hambali was born in 780 in Mary, Turkmenia, northern Afghanistan.
He was the son of an Abbasid army officer, Muhammad Asy-Syaibani, and Syarifah bint Maimunah.
Since childhood, Imam Hambali has memorized the Koran and studied hadith.
To study hadith, he migrated to Syria, Hijaz, Yemen and other Arab countries.
In Baghdad, he studied jurisprudence under the guidance of Abu Yusuf, the supreme judge in the Abbasid era.
Imam Hambali also studied under Imam Syafi'i in Mecca for four years.
Imam Hambali is known as a simple and humble person.
He is also known as an ascetic person, choosing to knit trousers and sell them.
Imam Hambali founded the Hambali School, whose legal sources come from the Al-Qur'an, Sunnah, fatwas of friends and ijtihad of friends.
Imam Hambali is known to be firm in sticking to history, and does not want to give a fatwa if it is not based on the Koran and marfuk hadith.
Imam Hambali compiled a famous book entitled al-Musnad.
