no, muslim grooming gangs and their Labour backers. Sense of perspective, your gold can be insured and replaced, still a terrible thing to have happen to you (unless you get to catch the criminal and set about him with a baseball bat and the old ultra v my droogs): these left-nonces have killed thousands of innocent people.
I wad a police officer, quite a few good officers get fired for stupid reasons, 1was dismissed for going against the goverment, another was dismissed for using his email to collect charitable donations for old clothing. He was from nigeria, he collected clothing, would hire a container (with his own money), and send clorhs back to his village, he had been doing it for years, even the sergents new all about, but he was still kicked out. Most of the officers that get sacked are normally the ones that go out and do good work.
I work in the energy industry and me and many of my colleagues have been saying for years that we will have energy rationing /rolling blackouts by the end of this Parliament, because we have no back up plan and Labour are desperate to hit net zero by 2030. The problem is it's an impossible pipe dream there is no way it will be anywhere near a reality for at least another 20 years, and even when/if we do hit net zero we will not be able to produce enough energy so we will have energy rationing permanently. But the eco zealots and this moronic Gov won't tell you this.
Not surprising, standards have been lowered to attract more applicants. Quite why they are not being filtered out at training is anybody's guess. Probably terrified of being called racist , ageist or sexist or something else ist.
I was reading this a while ago. Some new police recruits only learnt at their training schools that they would have to work nights and weekends. They left as they were unaware of the requirement. Not sure why they weren't weeded out at selection.

Imagine a 5'4" policewoman on the beat. What deterrence would that provide?
Power cuts well let me tell you in the very early 70s we had them It was horrible not so bad in the summer. But in the autumn and winter. Life was intolerable.. Those batteries cost thousands and are genuinely only any good for lighting.
I agree 100% i was a young kid in the 70s I remember having to go to bed by candles light we use to joke we’re back in dickens time. The rubbish stacked up in the streets was worse
And you couldn't get a candle anywhere or paraffin then there was a shortage of wicks this experience was horrendous. But this is what you liebour voters want.c
Sir Edward will be introducing a system where the amount you pay will be based on demand. Being from on the other side of the pond, our electricity rates are governed (commercially) by either the highest amperage that is used vs time of day for residential users. The meters installed are "smart meters" and they can determine how much energy at what time you are using it and calculate the costs per KWh. Basically it means that your energy costs will increase.

But the off-peak and on-peak times are known so at least you have the choice whether to do your laundry during the day or evening.
The Millerband family where apart of the Fabian society and we all know what they where no wonder him and his brother still carry on the same way , anyone who doesn’t know what the Fabian society was just TH-cam it or google it , lots of politicians are apart of it
I hate to point out the obvious but you can't have it both ways. I remember a few years back a bloke who wasn't exactly citizen of the year and was very unhealthy deliberately walking slowly in front of riot police trying to be obstructive..one officer gave him a shove he died of a heart attack or some other ailment and the officer went to prison. Didn't attack an innocent bystander he gave a shove to someone who was being obstructive and went to prison for his trouble. He couldn't have known the bloke was in poor health having never met him before. Everyone has a camera and the IOPC are happy to ruin officers lives so why take the risk? People are all for tough policing until it's against someone you support
Mike can I correct you please. I am a retired Pc from Cambridgeshire. I take issue with BTP officers not being "proper" officers. They do the same training, to the same standards as Home Office forces, so are on a par (however high, or low, you judge that to be). The only difference is that they have responsibility for the transport system in this country, and particular knowledge of it's by-laws (of which there are many). In fact it could be argued they are more specialised than the Met, the local Home Office force.
I know why you did it. A quote from "V for Vendetta" by DC Comics. We have come all this way to find truth in a comic book/film. That is what happens when you play pong. Most knew they were lying, but voted for them anyway. Red/Blue mattered not. The people let it happen. You were lied to, but knew it was a lie. To quote from same, to find the guilty party you need ony look in a mirror. Three cheers for DC Comics.
It is symptom of the senior officers minority public relations obsession, that front line officers are repeatedly put at risk when tackling violent offenders. Every time police are asked to deal with dangerous offenders, their actions are treated as potential criminal acts, by the authorities. Obsessive, compulsive management put people under enormous stress, when they are simply trying to do their jobs. The 21st century police culture is one of the worst examples of this. This is shown by the disgraceful treatment of the Kaba case. An officers life is, quite likely to be ruined, despite him being cleared of wrongdoing in court. On yhe other side. The Cousins case and others show that the same culture of minority public relations obsession, causes a reluctance by senior officers to tackle dangerous loose canons within their ranks. It also extends right accross our establishment. The child grooming scandal shows how, minority community relations take priority over protecting the most vulnerable in society. Until, common sense prevails in policing, officers are going to continue to suffer the problems faced by the officer in the Kaba case. On the other side, senior officers are going to carry on trying to bury bad news and play down serious offenses, for the sake of community relations. Starmer and Co know that the majority community were traditionally the most supportive to the police in their difficult work. Do Labour want the sort of treatment suffered by officers when dealing with crime in certain communities to become universal? Do they want thinly veiled contempt for officers to become the norm throughout the country? Again the establishment seem to be making all the wrong moves. Making the job of policing more and more problematic.

The most common reason for dismissal was dishonesty.
Let's face it, these officers aren't victims here.

Remember that too, wasn’t much fun !
What about the Manchester Air Port incident will be running out of time 6 months to charge them very slow investigation of the incident disgusting
The investigation was finished in late August and handed it to the CPS, it's the CPS that is refusing to charge them !!!!!!
Technology is becoming dangerous
If ‘as we move toward sustainable energy’ there will be more blackouts, does that not point to the fact that it maybe is not sustainable?
Very good point!
The energy is sustainable but the people using it are not sustainable.

Fair in the sense that it is equally unfair for everyone.
