Yes even I felt that Gobiln is overrated(how ever I like the bromance and story line)... Here the chemistry is so natural... As if both are in love(that teen age kind of love)... And this is the only drama where they did the best to disguise the female as male..

This scene is literally so important, especially to modern day society. Like in that moment he realized that it wasn't about a guy liking a girl or a guy liking another guy, it was about a person falling in love with another person for who they are. He loved this person so much he was even willing to go past a social taboo and confess his love! People don't realize that by labeling themselves with their sexuality they are essentially limiting themselves from being with someone they might love. Sexuality is basically just a preference for what a person is usually interested in. Had he decided to just give up on the thought because he didn't consider himself gay, this relationship wouldn't have developed until she confessed she was a girl or maybe almost once it was too late... This is literally one of the best k-drama scenes ever that made me realize what true love is!

I rewatched Coffee Prince in 2023 and I must say, out of all the Kdrama couples, I think this relationship was the healthiest. She may have hidden her gender, but they were always honest about their feelings and they knew how important communication was! One of the best couples in Kdrama land 💜
I love this scene and the beach scene the most. There's so much love in the way he looks at Eun Chan and it's just so beautiful and heartbreaking watching him questioning himself, his confusion yet his unsuppressible love and how in the last scene he finally accepts things as they are and decides to love freely. ahh, I just love Yoon Eun Hye in this drama, also in this scene I really loved her expression after his confession, the mix of ecstasy and momentary sadness.
한유주 이해가는데.. 나같아도 9년이나 만났고 중간에 한번 헤어졌다 사귀어서 전만 못한데 생전 안그랬던 남자가 처음으로 다른여자한테 흔들리고 그것도 본인이 인정하기까지했는데 더끌구가봤자 절대 행복할수없을듯 차라리 자기 일 스폰해주고 나좋다하는 디케이를 따라가는게 한유주 입장에서는 여러모로 전략적 선택

I never used to like romantic dramas but this one is blowing me away. The acting especially is excellent, all the relationships are touching and interesting, and it's really, really fun.
The best drama, the best scene, what a magnificent performance by Gong Yoo and the other actors. This is my comfort drama, I'm always watching it again. It's been 6 years since I first watched it and my heart keeps pounding for this drama.
Even after all these years and countless dramas, this will always hold top place in my heart. Their level of intimacy still makes me feel like a voyeur watching something illicit. For such an innocent kiss, it makes my heart flutter still and it's the last second of the kiss where they both lean in one last time like they can't stand to be parted, that makes me melt. The entirety of their interaction was so natural and organic that it felt less like watching a movie and more like seeing two people fall in love for real. Oh how I wish they were together IRL.
The only drama where they did their best to disguise the female as male.... Their chemistry is so natural on top of their superb acting skills... Good story line....

i think im just realizing now years after this drama aired how important this drama was. how they showed two queer characters loving each other for who they are, even if korean society didn't have the terms for it at the time. han kyeol acknowledges that he doesn't care about gender in a partner, and eun chan is so clearly genderqueer. and they love each other, and they get their happy ending, and it's beautiful
Watching this drama for the first time i can tell this has the best script ever and i've seen a lot of kdramas. Their natural acting and story also Gong Yoo smile always made me also simle❤🙂

There's so much love in the way he looks at Eun Chan and it's just so beautiful and heartbreaking watching him questioning himself, his confusion yet his unsuppressible love and how in the last scene he finally accepts things as they are and decides to love freely.
ahh, I just love Yoon Eun Hye in this drama, also in this scene I really loved her expression after his confession, the mix of ecstasy and momentary sadness.

The best drama, the best scene, what a magnificent performance by Gong Yoo and the other actors. This is my comfort drama, I'm always watching it again. It's been 6 years since I first watched it and my heart keeps pounding for this drama.

For such an innocent kiss, it makes my heart flutter still and it's the last second of the kiss where they both lean in one last time like they can't stand to be parted, that makes me melt. The entirety of their interaction was so natural and organic that it felt less like watching a movie and more like seeing two people fall in love for real. Oh how I wish they were together IRL.

i think im just realizing now years after this drama aired how important this drama was. how they showed two queer characters loving each other for who they are, even if korean society didn't have the terms for it at the time. han kyeol acknowledges that he doesn't care about gender in a partner, and eun chan is so clearly genderqueer. and they love each other, and they get their happy ending, and it's beautiful
