WOW all I need now is a radio, antenna, computer, electricity and food. Really thanks this helps a lot. Using this with a remote satellite uplink would really destroy a vacation with my wife. Pray for me.

I just signed up and I'm using it. It's already super useful on day one. I had a issue with logging on mobile and when I messaged Stu on discord he was straight on it. Full credit to him for working on this and providing the community with something integrated.
This for most people is the one stop shop. It deserves success.

There's a bunch of logging software etc out there, but this is by far the most fun to use.

as a new ham this is all ive used - amazing bit of software that evolves weekly. My top feature is once you search a call sign it goes directly to the map. great for those people learning the countries and towns. keep up the good work stu

haha, it's a handy thing to have when busy in the shack, just set to follow someone on S&P and see what they get up to.

As a new ham as of last October and just getting my first HF rig (IC-7300) and my first contact on 1/1/24, I was searching all over the place for a logging program that I could use. I am currently on Log4OM but this seems to be the one I was looking for. I have signed up for the trial to test the waters out and get it set up. I am struggling with the CAT control as it just keys the radio to transmit and doesn't stop transmitting until I force stop omni-rig, but I am sure it is something I have set wrong since I am new to all of this. Great work on the program Stu. I looks great and I look forward to learning all about it's features and test it out. I have already signed up to buy you a cup of coffee monthly after my trial, I am that convinced I will like it.
Hi , your OmniRig settings are wrong, try changing the HIGH / LOW values. Contact me directly if you have no luck.
@@G5STU Now that is what I call support and why I am donating a coffee to you each month! That was exactly what it was. I changed both RTS and DTR from high to low, and it is now working properly! Thank you so much!

As a blind ham I'll have to check this out, as Stew mentioned several keyboard commands. I really hope that keyboard navigation works well and a screen reader understand the implementation of controls. Mapping the escape is always a good thing. Nice to hear a developer to mention the keyboard.

I tried the software. Couldn't make it work. If station master could make a video describing everything again, to a 5 year old that just got his first computer, I would pay for the program.
Wow thanks for a great video. I am so pleased I am retired, it looks like I have a lot of learning to do . Looks like this will see me cancelling my yearly subscription to HRD. Very impressive Stu, I am about to download and give it a go. Think I be logging on HRD for a while till I am happy but I will export the log to SM.

Looks cool. Too bad I'm using a TS-430S. I'll need to upgrade to a TS-440 to play with the cool toys! Not sure if the TS-670 is capable, but it would seem like a waste to use such powerful software on 10 watts and four bands. 🤣

I use Ham Radio Deluxe for rig control. Can Station Master act as a go-between?
I did get it working but not tested for a while. I'll check that this week.
I have the paid version but don't feel it's ready yet Still using N1MM or whatever it's called.

I refuse to install any trial that goes out of its way to hide the "cost" of a full subscription. I have looked and looked and can't find the price anywhere, which leads me to suspect that I need to sign up to a free trial before I am told the price. If anyone out there is not as careful as myself and has signed up for the free trial would care to tell me what the price is, it would be appreciated.

Yes that's right, if you do choose to pay for the premium version you'll be helping towards the cost of hosting and also helping Stuart the developer out for his efforts in making and adding new features towards the software. I used the free version for several months and didn't pay a penny. I now have a monthly subscription which costs me about £2.50 a month which I'm happy to pay.@@wonderingworld119

Is there logbook integration into Maria db or other?
I don't know.. You'll have to ask Stu about that - he might pop along later.
No just SQLite ATM but no reason not to add DB server support. Would that be link to an existing database or just have station master have its data on a server ?
@G5STU - My HRD logbook currently uses Maria DB, moved it Excel due to Excel's limitations

There is a mac beta in the discord, you can link RumLog to station master cloud too.

Have you looked inside a radio recently..?
HamAlert works great without requiring others to subscribe. Will alert on needed POTA states and other such triggers. No omnirig version hell.
