Sean,in reality,when Jesus was 12 years,he didn't preach ooooo but he was following his Parents to the Church & he used to listen to the Elders, bc he wanted to know their minds & what they were saying. He started preaching at the age of 30 years & at the age of 33 years, he was cruciified. When he ressurected back to life, he didn't go to any place to preach,but he gave his disciplise the power to go & preach,bc he is going back to the Father & so what he is saying is the truth.!! According to the Bible, in Luke chapt 2 vrs 41, his Parents went to Jerusalem,to worsip there. After the service, they couldnt find Jesus. They returned to the remple & saw him sitting together with the Elders. When his Parents asked him, he said, dont you know that, l must stay in my Fathers house? All this time, he hasnt start the work. Jesus at the age of twelve,was asking the Elders many questions & the Elders were astonished & saw that,he was soo wise,but he didn't preach.
