I'm happy I found this video. Once you've tried a Reese's Cup, you'll never forget the experience. When I was a kid, back in the 60's in Minnesota, Mallo Cups were the rage. For every Nickel you spent the treat included a coupon. Get enough coupons, mail them in, and behold free Mallo Cups. My teeth are rotting, yet capitalism seemed to take hold. Anyway, I inherited this 1200 Sportster from a young brother and I remember the windows in our house rattling whenever he had it running in the driveway. I've had it in storage for six years and need to deal with it. Because I've taken an interest in the bike, and the more I learn about engines types, the more desirable the EVO 1200 looks. With Harley seemingly going tits-up soon I wonder if I have a collectors item. I don't know what year it is yet, but I remember it looked pretty good. I'm sure that engine could be adapted to biofuel for when the Apocalypse comes.
I haven't had a Peanut Butter Cup in ages but loved them decades ago. The peanut butter part is much sweeter than any jar on the grocery shelf. I think you have to be a youngster to appreciate the magic of a PBC.
I found you from that video from Bart a few months ago. I immediately binge watched all your videos and subscribed to your channel. (lots of down time at work, lol) I appreciate all the effort and thought you've put into your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed your content. While the bean counter Gods are probably not going to make you rich from this exercise, please know that you are making great stuff and reaching out far and wide. I'm watching from the US and love the UK angle. Thank you Sir!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, and your appreciation of my efforts - both very much appreciated, thank you! I'm pleased you 'get it', regarding the dreaded bean counters, that you are enjoying what I produce and that you even 'love the UK angle'... Excellent! Thanks again, Chris
I’m here because of Bart’s plug as well. I’ve really enjoyed this journey through the Sportster’s history. I love my Low Rider, but I often find myself missing my Sportster 1200c.
Thank you for your kind wishes for Anna & I Rider. :-) And thanks too for your constructive comments on the other videos. I really feel like my efforts are appreciated: thank you again! Cheers, Chris
You don't like peanut butter cups?! You should order some root beer and try that. I've heard people from other countries don't like that either...lol I guess it's a bit of a Unites States thing.
Morning Chris - no, not a peanut butter cups fan (now that I've tried them). But, you realise I've got to get some root beer now? I don't even know if it's available here. I'm interested to try it though, in my mind it's like old British staples, ginger beer, or even the much loved Shandy Bass. (Now there's a blast from the (British) past!) I'll try root beer and let you know... Cheers, Chris
@@chrisoftheot6272 I tried beans and toast a couple months ago and quite enjoyed it. I had to go to the World Market to find Heinz Beans, but it was worth it. There's a certain satisfying heartiness to it.
Afternoon Chris - wow, I thought Heinz Beans were a global brand. Shows what I know... Still, if you're going to try a classic British snack, that's a great place to start. So - what were the cowboys eating by the fire in all those dreadful, old films? I thought it was baked beans? Or is it just haricot beans 'n gravy, or something? I can't find root beer so I'll have to go to Amazon. But, some have said it tastes like TCP (antiseptic medicine) - or worse! So, now I'm scared. (But I will try it!) Wish me luck... Cheers, Chris
@@chrisoftheot6272 Our beans are in more of a sweet BBQ syrup of sorts. The Heinze ones taste a lot lighter and healthier. I've heard the opinion that root beer tastes like medicine to people who didn't grow up with it... Lol, maybe you'll like it, but I think it is an acquired taste.

Afternoon Jim - if it's a young person's thing, then I've really missed the boat...
Sadly,
Chris

Girdler reminds me of the springer girder front forks on aftermarket chopper.

Thanks for the praise, erm, Inferno? Appreciate it, and I'm glad you're enjoying the series.
Cheers,
Chris
I love your videos, and appreciate your fine work very much!
Praying for you and your wife…
Many thanks Lynn - for the praise, and even more for the prayers. (Anna was very touched that you said so too.) Thank you.
Chris
I found you through Bart as well, great series! Hopefully your wife is doing well, sending up prayers! Take er easy 🤘
Morning Terry - thank you for 'sending up prayers': they're much appreciated by both of us. :-) Thanks for you kind comment too.
Cheers,
Chris
