I am not a musicologist and my only music training is private guitar lessons when I learnt to read music from an excellent teacher, but in my opinion Pachelbel must have been a musical genius ! When I first heard Canon in D was in the 1980's movie Ordinary People with Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore and Timothy Hutton. That's when I fell in love with this particular piece of music.
Like a dreamscape aftet waking, our lifes are fleeting, less than 100 years Canon is a breath of fresh air in this is not a business tansient world in our lives of so much hassle and annoyances
