I would advice you to try and find Fate Man from amouage, i recently did a vid on that one and it's SOOO perfect for fall/winter. It's such a spicy cozy and elegant fougere that has an amber tonka musky base that is just to die for. Many people avoid that one but i can safely say it's one of the best recent descoveries. And it's gonna be a staple for my fall/winter routine alongside musc ravageur and au coeur du desert. I applaud your list, you have great taste!
Thank you so much for the kind words and recommendation, Daniel! I've heard amazing things about Fate Man but haven't had the chance to try it yet-I'll definitely add it to my list. The combination of spicy coziness and that amber-tonka-musk base sounds perfect for this season. I love Musc Ravageur and Au Coeur du Désert-great staples for fall/winter! Appreciate your insights and your support!
Wonderful Reviews as always Joao! I’m surprised at no mention of the huge dose of CUMIN in Declaration Parfum. It’s so prominent, in your face, and dominating the fragrance to me. I appreciate it, but never find it wearable because of that.
Very nice list. I would not agree that opus VI is the best in opus collection. I find vintage opus v way better, very surprisingly that you did not choose it over VI since that you are an iris lover, and opus v is to me best iris fragrance in history. I dont get comparisation with jubilation 40. Jubi 40 is way easier to wear, can be even signature scent. While opus 6 is a very occasional wear
Thank you for your thoughts! I completely understand your perspective. However, the new Opus V doesn't strike me as the original formulation did. There's more designer-esque in the new version that I don't like. Unfortunately, I don't have the original Opus V wich was a great iris! For me, Opus VI just has that unique resinous quality that makes it special. As for the Jubilation 40 comparison, I see your point-Jubi 40 is easier to wear, whereas Opus VI is more of a statement. Thanks for sharing your insights!
Have you tried Barbara Herman's Eris perfume line? The perfumer is Antoine Lie with the standouts for me being: Scorpio Rising, MX, MXX and Ma Bete! The fragrances are beautifully done with high quality ingredients.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve heard great things about Eris Parfums and Antoine Lie's work. Scorpio Rising, MXXX and Ma Bête are definitely on my radar now 😊
Many people have been complaining about changes in Tobacco Vanille reformulation over the years. I haven’t tried the recent batches, but I guess I'm fortunate to have this specific formula
Always love these videos. Personally, I can’t stand most on this particular list though - despite being a cozy, warm, fragrance fan. Ambre Naguile is wonderful though, and Lune Feline is ok, but it feels slightly overly saccharine to me. Sadly, something about Musc Ravageur is absolutely repellent to my nose, despite loving all variations of Shalimar, Le Lion, and Labdanum 18.
Thank you for always tuning in, I really appreciate it! I get it-fragrance is such a personal thing, and not every scent works for everyone. Ambre Narguilé is wonderful, and I can see what you mean about Lune Feline. As for Musc Ravageur, it's definitely a polarizing fragrance-totally understand if it's not your thing. Glad you love Shalimar, and Le Lion -those are fantastic!
I appreciate your feedback, but I actually use a Rode mic, which is a high-quality sound system. If you're experiencing issues, it might be worth checking your playback settings. Thanks for watching.
Musc ravageur is not worth buying anymore no way. I have the original formula and it's priceless. This new formula smells weaker and much less masculine
agree 100% i have meehares l'elborario and i got a decant of new musc ravageur, there is very little difference. cannot compare to the old one which had that sweat smell a bit, made the fragrance so interesting
Must agree. I have some left in a 10 year old bottle. Received a new bottle as a gift. ….. very different. New version has no projection, no animalic undertones and longevity is a fraction of the original version. Sadly this is what happens to just about every fragrance in vet time. If you find something you love I suggest you buy 2 or 3 back up bottles for this exact reason
I really love "Spicebomb Extreme" and "Declaration Parfum". Those two are true bangers!
Absolutely agree!

Snuggling season perfect recommendation 😍
Thank you so much! Snuggling season is the best, and the right fragrance can make it even cozier! 😊
@@ScentedMoments Totally agreed, the right fragrance will set a particular mood on top of the coziness ☺

Tobacco Vanille today is like water with slightly tobacco smell.

The current Musc Ravageur is LAME
Respectfully disagree. I believe it is still an outstanding fragrance and I love it.

Never got to smell the original but love my new version
Could I buy a decant from you?
