How to Sync Samsung Health to Google Fit

- With the Health Connect app, you can sync Samsung Health data to Google Fit so that all your health metrics tracked by the Galaxy Watch can also be viewed not just on Samsung Health but also on Google Fit. This video shows you how to do just that.
I just loaded Google Fit and am trying to sync it to a bunch of other health apps that I have on my phone - figuring it would be a good consolidator of the data. But the sync is not working well at all - even with all of the permissions set. In your example video, did it access Samsung Health's (which is one of my many health apps) history, or was it just a one-time sync only. Do you know if Google Fit gets history from any app?
I don't think Google fit gets history, what it actually did was sync the data after say 10-20 minutes.
Which watch would be good to buy under Rs 3500, in which the battery should work well, everything should be good in the watch. Pls reply me
That's a low budget. It should get you a smartband like Mi Band 8, Huawei Band 8 or any other Chinese watch

Hi, why it's still 0 if you have walked? Also, I am experiencing an issue with Google Fit rolling back steps even if it's shown correctly in Source data. Thanks
I noticed that after syncing, Google fit takes some time (minutes to about 2hrs) to sync data from source
Does it only sync steps at midnight? it seems its not adding the steps through out the day... ?>?>?
No it syncs 24/7 as you move, though there's slight delay in syncing

Can I uninstall Samsung Health from my phone and would this still work?
UPDATE: Google Fit looks really bad on a watch interface and Samsung Health runs on the background at all times hogging my battery. I was hoping if there was a way to get out of this. Help is much appreciated. Thank you.
I don't think it will be possible to stop Samsung health from running in the background since it needs to regularly communicate with your phone

My watch records properly. It's my phone that isn't picking it up. Both apps say different ish on my phone. How annoying
This is not working for me.. And why do I have to allow ALL those permissions. That's invasive af.
Sad to hear. The permissions allows the apps to sync data between each other.
Has never worked for me either. No error messages,. I've had occasional success with "fitnessSyncer". It often hangs but at least gives some feedback.
I haven't had any issues with it since
