Exploring Rugeley and the Empty Market Town (for the first time)

Welcome to my next line up of train outings.
I went to both Rugeley (in this Vlog) and Lichfield on the same day.
Lichfield will be my next Vlog as a follow up to this one.
Rugeley is very beautiful with its town and points of interest.

I wasn't sure what it was like, I kept hearing about the Trent Valley route with Rugeley and Lichfield and thought I'd take a look. Besides very few points of interest, the town is almost, if not empty., I did find Lichfield way better.

@@IRLwithPete-fr2mq It has beautiful surroundings, lots of rural villages etc. Sadly the town planing of years gone by destroyed all of the towns beauty. It was always a ghost town when I was growing up there. Even worse in the winter when a heavy fog falls into the town and its pitch black from 3pm.....depressing.
