With E brake; just pull up and it will engage. Then put the handle down. To disengage pull up and push the button in then let down.

The ground attached to the battery tray goes to the negative battery cable. Just dealt with that on my car recently.

You’re making great progress! I just picked up an 88GT that needs some love so I’ll be following closely to see what you do.

Try changing your tach filter, that might fix the tachometer.

I checked for the tach filter in the stock location and mine is missing. I don’t even see the 2 wires it connects to

Your ebrake looks like it works. You only push the button to release the parking brake. Just pull it up to set it and let it fall back down.

I had it wrong in the video but it doesn’t work. No “click” when I pull it up and it doesn’t actually hold the brake

Your replacement non-OEM slave cylinder line makes two 360 degree loops. I suspect there's a ton of air in there that's going to be nearly impossible to bleed out. Get a OEM line. It should just go right up to it without any loops to trap air.

I think the car was a 4 cylinder swapped to a v6, and GT body panels. Is the cooling blower motor or the mounts
for it on the passenger side trunk. check on the passenger side trunk. I think your cables could need an adjustment. Once you get it to shift good change the trans fluild with some good gm syncro mesh.

That would have been a lot of work. The guage cluster is for a V6. Shame that the factory premium stereo was removed. You can see the slide switch for the subwoofer on the dome light panel. The subwoofer is located under the dash on the passenger side,
