I learned to play in the 80's and for a long time it was next to impossible to find a skilled musician willing to share the knowledge. can you break down "you are good" on tye tribbett's new album... I know its really a 4-5-6 movement most of the song but I cant really catch the movements they do or the fills and I really want to learn them please. Particularly everything they do after 2:19, this would be a gret help please abd that you and its in the key of Gb.

I've never had to play it for anyone yet. The arrangement was just so superb and complex that I wanted to challenge myself to learn it. Once I learned it, I had nothing to do with it so I figured I'd try to help others learn it. I'm humbled that it has helped so many. Thank you again and be blessed.

But I can answer from my perspective, because I am not at the level I desire to be. So I just try to stay motivated by exposing myself constantly to those better than me, whether live or just watching videos of them. Then I try to push myself outside of my comfort zone, to the point where that zone becomes my comfort, then the idea is to go beyond that one too. Not necessarily an easy feet, but we can do it if we stay determined. :) But wherever I can help you, let me know. I'm getting into doing more videos on how to "play by ear" and pick up the music regardless of the difficulty. Thanks again brother!
