I am a huge hi-fi enthusiast and have spent thousands on my own record collection and stereo. Every time someone asks me for a recommendation for a budget turntable I always struggle to find something that sounds good, works well, and looks good in most spaces. Most of the options that are below $300-$400 use crappy components and can actually damage your records. This new turntable from 1 By One has a lot of the features I would expect in a more expensive turntable such as adjustable tracking force, anti-skate, and switchable line/phono output along with an included pair of bookshelf speakers with a built-in amplifier. It’s the perfect all in one record player setup for a newbie or someone who needs to add an additional system.
