Angel Beats is one of those shows that immidiately cemented itself as a classic. A Very easy to understand story, an Amazing soundtrack, enough comedy to make you bust your gut laughing, a grade A cast, and enough emotion that it brought men to tears. 12/10 highly recommend watching

marina's performance is what people missed out in girl's dead monster. marina smooth control of her voice is peak voice control. Lisa's voice can vibrate when she put energy, but marina? she can control it. Very controlled sound across all range.
The songs that make me cry the most in the anime was My Song because of how it was used within the anime itself, and the EDs because of whats being shown on the screen while the songs were playing (combining both EDs basically shows the entire story).

I watched Angel Beats once 10 years ago and once is more than enough. I am not strong enough to go through that again. I cannot watch Yui and Hinata's story again. I cannot watch the end with Kanade and Otonashi again. That last KANADEEEEE scream will forever echo in my mind.

I can't recommend Angel Beats enough. It might be clumsy in it's pacing in some parts but the heartfelt moments hit you like a freaking truck. And only in 12 episodes. This one and Anohana are the only 2 anime that make my tear up no matter how many times I watch them. EDIT: PS: React to ANohana opening and ending please.

I didn't break until episode 10, Goodbye Days, which is the episode where this song first plays and the image in the video is displayed I believe. Man, I remember watching the last episode of Angel Beats for the first time. I broke down crying for several minutes because how hard the ending hit. For an anime that only got 13 episodes, it's still one of the best I've ever seen.

What makes their songs very good and emotional is that the writer is a genius music composer who loves to touch on people's emotional strings. And thanks for reacting to Angel Beats by the way! Angel Beats is an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible. It will 100% break you down and melt you into a crying mess, then uplift you with levity and make you laugh so much your sides will hurt, then it will drop you back into tears again, etc. You've just experienced the emotional low in isolation here without the corresponding emotional high.

Angel Beats is, in my opinion, the single most perfect anime. It's one I always recommend to anyone wanting to look into watching anime for the first time. It has good action scenes, absolutely hysterical comedy moments, and heartbreaking lows and highs. Plus a beautiful soundtrack with the talented LiSA at its helm.

Speaking of OST songs, there's one from the anime *Kill La Kill* called *Before My Body Is Dry* that's exceptionally good. The line in it "Don't Lose Your Way" became a theme for the show. And yes, the song is in English, sung by Japanese artist Mika Kobayashi. EDIT: If you ever decide to react to Before My Body Is Dry, the running time is 4 minutes and 8 seconds for the entire song. Some recordings of it do not have a rap section (voiced by David Whitaker) that is important to it. Kobayashi also sang songs for *Attack On Titan's OST.* Something else that might be good to review is *Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite,* which is phenomenal. Sawano composed the music for both Kill La Kill and Attack on Titan.

This song breaks me every time I hear it. Even though it will hurt even more, you have to watch LiSA perform this live. The absolute wellspring of emotion is truly something magical to experience. Bonus points if you watch the Final Operation version without curling into a sniveling ball of tears.

This song…this fkin song! Man it’s been ages but it’s still making me teary. Angel beats is, to this day, handsdown the Anime that made me tear up the most. Among the very first Anime I’ve watched and the void this left me got me on a journey spanning close to 2 decades now, desperately hoping to chance upon something as beautiful. And yes I fortunately did find many over the years, but the impact this had on me would probably never be replicated. Afterall this was at a time when I honestly didn’t have serious expectations from Anime, not to mention this show was deceptively funny at the start 😅 The feels were so out of the blue, and heavy that it truly redefined my outlook on this medium forever. I can still clearly remember the teary mess I was when this Yui ending came in. I had to rewatch it thrice coz I couldn’t see the screen at all due to my tears, despite trying to wipe it multiple times to no avail haha.

You should 100% watch it, in my top 3 favorite animes and one of the only ones that has made me cry. It might be kinda weird and hectic at the start which I am fine with but some people don't like, but it gets so good especially later on and it is a shame some people I know dropped it after first episode or 2 because of this. It's a really underrated anime that is definitely worth watching.
interesting fact, ichiban no takaramono literally translates to 'my most precious treasure', take of that what you will, on another note, this was one of my first anime ever watched and a good intro to anime in general, so i recommend it as one of the first twitch runs.
Imagine, how you could listen to this song AFTER knowing what happens in anime! You should definetly watch it. It's overall a quality anime: animation, characters and thaeir backstories, story and especially music. Me personally it took only in one scene, and for me there are some more cryable animes, but not that much of them. But some people cry in almost every episode, and that's cool. Angel Beats is an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible. It will 100% break you down and melt you into a crying mess, then uplift you with levity and make you laugh so much your sides will hurt, then it will drop you back into tears again, etc. You've just experienced the emotional low in isolation here without the corresponding emotional high.

Angel Beats is, in my opinion, the single most perfect anime. It's one I always recommend to anyone wanting to look into watching anime for the first time. It has good action scenes, absolutely hysterical comedy moments, and heartbreaking lows and highs. Plus a beautiful soundtrack with the talented LiSA at its helm.
kinda evil to recommend it to newbie though, if you ask me cause that was what happened to me. this was my first recommended anime to watch and it fricked me, but hey it sucked me to anime

Speaking of OST songs, there's one from the anime *Kill La Kill* called *Before My Body Is Dry* that's exceptionally good. The line in it "Don't Lose Your Way" became a theme for the show. And yes, the song is in English, sung by Japanese artist Mika Kobayashi. EDIT: If you ever decide to react to Before My Body Is Dry, the running time is 4 minutes and 8 seconds for the entire song. Some recordings of it do not have a rap section (voiced by David Whitaker) that is important to it.
Kobayashi also sang songs for *Attack On Titan's OST.* Something else that might be good to review is *Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite,* which is phenomenal. Sawano composed the music for both Kill La Kill and Attack on Titan.
It's frustrating that everyone praising "that" Lisa instead of this Lisa. This Lisa deserves praise as much as that Lisa.
Angel Beats is definitely a series that will make you cry, but it is also a story you would never forget. It's something that would live with you forever, in what I would hope, a good and meaningful way. So yes. Watch it!

This song breaks me every time I hear it. Even though it will hurt even more, you have to watch LiSA perform this live. The absolute wellspring of emotion is truly something magical to experience. Bonus points if you watch the Final Operation version without curling into a sniveling ball of tears.

Angel beats is, to this day, handsdown the Anime that made me tear up the most. Among the very first Anime I’ve watched and the void this left me got me on a journey spanning close to 2 decades now, desperately hoping to chance upon something as beautiful.
And yes I fortunately did find many over the years, but the impact this had on me would probably never be replicated.
Afterall this was at a time when I honestly didn’t have serious expectations from Anime, not to mention this show was deceptively funny at the start 😅
The feels were so out of the blue, and heavy that it truly redefined my outlook on this medium forever.
I can still clearly remember the teary mess I was when this Yui ending came in. I had to rewatch it thrice coz I couldn’t see the screen at all due to my tears, despite trying to wipe it multiple times to no avail haha.

You should 100% watch it, in my top 3 favorite animes and one of the only ones that has made me cry. It might be kinda weird and hectic at the start which I am fine with but some people don't like, but it gets so good especially later on and it is a shame some people I know dropped it after first episode or 2 because of this. It's a really underrated anime that is definitely worth watching.
interesting fact, ichiban no takaramono literally translates to 'my most precious treasure', take of that what you will, on another note, this was one of my first anime ever watched and a good intro to anime in general, so i recommend it as one of the first twitch runs.
Imagine, how you could listen to this song AFTER knowing what happens in anime! You should definetly watch it. It's overall a quality anime: animation, characters and thaeir backstories, story and especially music. Me personally it took only in one scene, and for me there are some more cryable animes, but not that much of them. But some people cry in almost every episode, and that's cool.
