  • Italy has to be home to some of the best mountain bike trails in the world! In this video, you're going to see a full day of uplifting in the Pietra Ligure area (next to Finale Ligure), right on the Mediterranean coast.
The trails were dry, dusty, rocky, and FAST!
Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area or you're looking for a new destination for your next mountain biking holiday!
Pop a comment below if you've ridden these trails.... or any trails like these in the area!

So sick, just cool seeing how you read the terrain and how to adapt on the fly. Suggest maybe doing a vid on how to disassemble, pack and set your rig up for trips like this?

Well noted, we did a video similar to this before Whistler last year

Loved it. I ride in the northwest US, Seattle area, and we are looking at a family trip that might include some time at Finale Ligure. I love this video so much and then back to your Scotland videos that I subscribed.

7:10 does actually look really steep and tight. That’s a mission to get down that. Having ridden Pietra ligure backcountry it’s bringing back the memories, every track “steep, off camber, big compressions, loose…”

That’s a fantastic trail. Question for you, Alex: having ridden the Vitus Mythique 29er, would you say it’s capable of handling this sort of trails? Great vids, as always 👍
