I was in a tree stand once in the 1970's with my recurve Bear bow. It was one of my higher stands. I didn't know the wasps had a new nest just above my head because I crawled up the tree in the dark. I got stung 7 times before I could get out of the tree and I think I jumped the last 8-10 feet (I was 15 or so it made jumping 8-10 ft an option). Shot a doe 15 minutes later...swollen face and all.
If we do not have IG does that take us out of the running? Sure would love to still have a shot at the bow. I don’t own a bow but have been wanting to get into bow hunting here in NC.

I just got in to bow hunting got a cheaper bow been looking for a nicer bow for a while now. Just shot my first deer with my bow it was such a great feeling, It feels so much better than shooting one with a rifle!!!!!!!
So much more fulfilling than shooting a corn pile deer with a rifle from a big box blind on some “pay per inch” deer ranch like these guys do. No scouting. No long days. Just show up, point and squeeze

I just got in to bow hunting got a cheaper bow been looking for a nicer bow for a while now. Just shot my first deer with my bow it was such a great feeling, It feels so much better than shooting one with a rifle!!!!!!!
