If she had it her way the FRA & possibly the early retirement age would start going up this year. In fact, their proposals would hurt 59 year olds not 20 somethings. Trump & Vivek are smart business entrepreneurs who know there can be many cuts to bureaucrats wasteful spending without having to touch this program. They also need to put back what they stole from it for their useless wasteful wars in the ME.

It's amazing when you have a politician who is actually qualified for the job, or perhaps over-qualified for the job. Senator Paul again cuts right to the issue with precision and clarity. Thank God some of our Senators are this sharp.
Why would anyone vote for Nikki, she has close ties with the military industrial complex. At what point would anyone think thats a good thing?
I think close ties is an understatement. She is very obviously transparently bought and paid for by the establishment namely the military industrial complex. She has bragged about being a puppet for her donors. I have never heard her convey anything I thought sounded like a genuine sincere thought from a genuine sincere person. She comes off as wound up tight and unhinged and also empty and vapid. She proudly sold her soul for a chance at riches and a little bit of power. She looks dead in the eyes and comes off kind of evil tbh the way she talks about war and conflict with this blood lust in her words. She will do as her masters bid. I believe she is the most dangerous candidate running.

Rand Paul is one of the most honest down to earth candidates in congress. Lives a modest Life, and actually cares about his responsibility to the people. A ex-military friend of mine recently met him at some conference. It was out west so he didn’t have any opinion about him or follow his accomplishments. He called and said how personable, honest and logical he came across and was super impressed how he acted as a politician. It didn’t surprise me in the least bit. If Rand says Nikki is bad for our country, Nikki is bad!

I would most definitely vote for RFK over Nikki Haley. My goodness did I just say I’d vote for a Kennedy. I truly like him but I’m still not convinced I’d rather see him over Trump or Ron DeSantis with Vivek as either one’s VP. I truly worry for his safety as well. The better he does in the polls the more likely the same people just a younger version of them will try and stop him like his uncle and father. I have one big problem with the GOP, and that is healthcare. I paid more in Premiums to Kaiser Permanente healthcare over a 10 year period, than my house in San Diego cost 11 years earlier. And I had no healthcare issues, I only kept it so if I got sick, my family wouldn’t go bankrupt. When I canceled Kaiser, Kaiser sent me a notice, saying that I would be canceled, and three days if I didn’t make payment. Then I realized, had I gotten sick, and couldn’t pay Kaiser Permanente is outrageous premiums, I would’ve lost that Insurance anyway. Thus, all I didn’t even have bankruptcy insurance. Kaiser Permanente had given me the illusion of healthcare. This is outrageous in a country where they spend $1 trillion on military. In Oregon if you don’t make a lot of money, healthcare is free. No deductible. And it’s the best healthcare I’ve ever had provided from an employer, self. Now, that OHP, Oregon , healthcare will transfer to Medicare. Thus I’ll keep all of my Social Security check, instead of paying 20% to some healthcare provider. Outrageous! American’s have been duped by a country that caters to corporate interests. How is it that Europe could pay for their citizens healthcare? Perhaps because they don’t have to pay for their military budget? I’m not complaining about European benefits. It’s time American’s should demand the same. It’s one of the reasons that I like Robert F Kennedy, who’s talked about bringing back our trillion dollar military budget to America. Then exporting economic power.

I have been monitoring the war since it began, as I have close friends in eastern Ukraine. Russia has been depleting resources, spending faster than they can replenish, and losing hundreds of thousands of troops in Putin's murderous rampage. Russia is getting weaker, and Putin's plans for conquest are diminishing - our aid for Ukraine has actually saved tens of millions of lives from being ruined by being displaced and forced into dangerous situations. It's easy to ignore the mass human suffering that Putin is causing when we live in our comfy safe cities in the US.
Much of the "aid" for Ukraine is actually in the form of loans, which will be paid back to the US. Tim Scott was the only candidate who was being honest about that.
Also, the money is mostly not "sent to Ukraine" - it is sent to American companies who are beefing up their manufacturing to supply weapons and ammunition, which will be a good thing if (God forbid) the US ever gets into a significant war.
Blocking Ukraine aid is a complete red herring. It is a TINY sliver of our budget compared with massive waste and corruption in our DOD that we SHOULD be focusing on. Helping Ukraine is one of the few 100% justified and righteous wars that the US has backed in recent decades.
