I passed up on four small bucks last weekend, but since Friday I have not seen a single buck, not even a spike. Still seeing plenty of does in the evenings but my mornings have sure been quiet.
I don’t mean this personally but I think true hunting is lost forever. The box blinds, food plots, 3-400 yard spots, what have done to our sport. Everything to make it easier we have ruined hunting.
Before all this BS. You can lie all you want & I’ve seen it @ friends camps deer becoming domesticated with food plots. My buddy shoots em & the other just stand there. True hunting was scouting the woods & finding food sources!
My son‘s gun was loaded but we had a misfire on his first shot so he was going to grab my gun, but no I never loaded it. I was too busy filming and trying to get him positioned to even think about it until that point. Eventually as you can hear in the film we work the bolt which ejected the misfired round onto the floor of the stand. The deer all looked at us but luckily never ran off.
Most of my shots are 15-20 yards. Listen to them chew acorns and fart. From a saddle with a bow. And im 64 yrs old.
Right on man, been slow around here north of cities a bit kind of weird figured the colder weather would get them moving more but not so much.

Amen to that. In Michigan hunting, if you can call it that, is done over a bucket of corn or sugar beets. NOTHING TO DO WITH HUNTING. 👎👎
What is "true hunting"? Asking for clarification because you didn't really define it and the definition seems subjective

Disassemble your bolt and clean it it shouldn’t do that
