- Gone But Not Forgotten
The last train pulled out of Union Station on November 2, 1969 and then it burned down 2 days later but thanks to all of the photographs that were taken of it by photographer Jack Barham, Bill Grabill and others we can still look back and just imagine what life was like at this once beautiful location. In this post, we not only want to call attention to that grand old train station, we also want to honor all the people back then (engineers, workers and passengers) that made trains a part of everyday life in this area.
