The combined powers of all members featuring Johnny P on lead vocals were beyond fresh and in many ways the group was ahead of their time. They brought a different style to hip hop that was totally original in itself. Their music told a story about the Chicago pimping game but in a hardcore smooth sort of format. They just had a way of making the rap lyrics flow a certain way at a time that just couldn't be duplicated.
