I just brought a load up from Desoto, TX to Dupont, WA last week and I went on this same road.. other direction of coarse. Camped out in Ellensburg that night.. Then up and through the Snoqualimie pass where they were requiring chains.. So I parked for a bit to wait it out.. 30 minutes later.. they dropped the chain requirements and I was rolling.. 84 miles to go.
