Resident Evil 5 is like, an absolute favorite game of mine. Ever ever ever. And all of that comes from playing with family, friends, online friends, and by myself for like hundreds of hours, getting all the trophies on countless systems... it's ridiculous. 6 wasn't the same, I still have had a hard time getting into it even after the ten or so years it has been out. Anyway, great video.
RE5 honesty doesn't get enough praise. I think it's a perfect candidate for a remake though. I enjoyed 6, still have yet to finish it. Waiting on my kid 😂
Fun video! Love a good Co-op game. Wrestling games just hit different during that era. WrestleMania 18 on the GameCube I sunk way to many hours into with friends.

Some nice picks. We need to try some of them out. We loved it takes two. It is the perfect game for any failing marriage. Lol. Mary's pick is diablo 3. My pick is slime world on the genesis. Mine may be linked to nostalgia
We really wanted to play Diablo 3 as a three-player experience. We were disappointed it was only two player but at the same time I'm sure it's phenomenal two-player so we have to get around to playing yet eventually. Hey! We're open to playing co-op games on the Genesis. We love a little nostalgia. I'm obligated to say that cuz Retro's in our title

@@jokanmonk7975 Yes! It was a special reserve game and we thought we had missed our opportunity to pick it up. I was prepared to spend $100 if I had to once it released but then shortly after they announced it would be getting another physical launch. I think you can get it on Amazon as well. Sucks to be those people that bought up tons of copies, though thinking they could make some dough because of its limited quantities. Do I feel bad for them...nope!
My retro knowledge is certainly lacking and I had no idea these were co-op. That's great to know. I know we have toe jam and Earl and we have access to Pocky and Rocky since we got our everdrive.
The screams. The terrible screams. That’s what I hear every time I see fu*head, I mean Cuphead 😂 Honestly, it’s the hardest game I’ve ever played. I had to pursue to complete it because I got too far to give up. I got the DLC for it but I can’t face it 🤣 Shovel knight does look great and you made it sound better than I thought it was. My recommendation would be Gears of War 5! Ive never played it but I’ve played all the older ones and it’s an amazing game to play campaign coop. May cause a divorce if played on hard mode though 😂 My other one is A Way Out but I know you have played that one.
FU**Head is absolutely punishingly brutal sometimes....all times lol. Haven't even considered getting the DLC. Let me know how that goes. Send us a comment from the asylum when you're finished. Awesome video guys! There are a couple of these I need to try. My number 10 pick would be the snow bros special remakes. Classic co op feeling, now with unlockables and a total of 70 stages up from 50 in the original.
I’ve never played Streets of Rage 2😂 when you think that Double Dragon is my fav arcade game I’ve no idea why🤷♂️ We always loved Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 as a co-op experience. A bit dated now but we still play terrorism hunt 4 player when friends come round.
I am shocked you've never played SOR2. Did you play 4? It's a lot of fun. We have games like Rainbow 6 that seem to be a staple no matter how old they get, they are fun 😊
If I had to pick the co-op game where we couldn’t stop playing it, and was a 10/10 back when we were dating. Lost Planet 2 would be the pick. We’ve played the heck out of plenty of co-op games, but my wife and I found that on PS3 early in our relationship and beat it over and over again. I think RE5 was what got us to finally put it down and not pick it back up. Around that time we also migrated to owning two of each console so we could play even when it wasn’t couch co-op. Which led into literally years of Destiny 1 on PS4…
Scott and Alex do a lot of couch co-op that way with Xbox. We have duplicates of almost every console except the PS4, PS5 and Switch. Love hearing how much you both enjoyed RE5. It gets a lot of undue hate imo
Lol 😂 You'll get a kick out of hearing that random strangers tell him that to his face in public 😂😂😂 Now I'm gonna have to look up Scud. I swear I've heard of it before.

Of course you gotta have SoR! We FINALLY....bought It Takes Two, so, someday we may make time to play it...baby steps. River City Girls, both, are so much fun; great music too. And redheads ARE hot.😊 I gotta play Cuphead someday. It looks gorgeous and I already adore the music I've heard from it. I played all the way through Shovel Knight...and did not know it was co-op. For real? Groovy.
I'm super excited for you guys to play It Takes Two. I'll be absolutely shocked if you're not completely obsessed. It is a fantastic co-op game and an even better couples game. Omg Tom, you would love cuphead but at times you will also hate cuphead. However, the reward for successfully getting past a level is such a high that it makes you want to keep playing and hating yourself for it. Yes, Shovel Knight was only co-op on the PS4. It was a bit hard for us to access but once we figured out what we had to do it was so worth playing through as a co-op experience. Besides, I don't think I could have done the boss rush at the end by myself.
By the way you showed Streets of Rage 1 not 2. Double Dragon 2 & Streets of Rage 2 are awesome. I agree with Scott I hate Cup Head. I forgot the game was a 2 player coop. I wonder if that makes it easier. I don't know because I played this single player & died like 800 times it said before beating it. I'm sorry but if you are dying at a game that many times before beating it, it's not a good game.
I think whether it's a good game or bad game is really in the eye of the beholder. Some people LOVE the challenge. Love memorizing each level to be able to get good. I was surprised how much I actually liked cuphead because typical that would drive me bananas but I think it's the whole package and the fact that we played it co-op.
Hell yeah! Streets of Rage 2 is awesome! It Takes Two is fun too! I felt like the shooting sections in it reminded me of a re-skinned Gears. Was funny playing it with my heterosexual friend when the characters kiss. 😂 Man, I need to play River City Girls asap! Loved the first one. Ooooo never heard of that Mercenary Kings game. Looks dope! I've played a few seasons of Super Mega Baseball 3. Super fun! I love the bootleg Arnold in DD2. Haha. Really fun but difficult game! Yes! Cuphead! So good! I think we tried to play it right after the first Halo so I think we needed a little bit of a break, but we'll definitely have to get back into it at some point. You'll love both River City girls games. They are phenomenal and Mercenary Kings is easily one of my favorite co-op experiences.
Some awesome games! I've also played a ton of Super Mega Baseball 3 and it's fantastic! I still need to get and play the 4th one! The soundtrack in Shovel Knight is insane! Really fun but hard game (I still have to beat it)! I was going to suggest A Way Out but you've already played it. So here are some other ones that I would suggest: Gears of War trilogy on 360, Diablo 4, Borderlands, Baldur's Gates 3, Beyond Two Souls. And this last one is digital only on PS4 but I really think you would enjoy it and that's Gauntlet. Sorry if I listed games you've already played but I can't remember if you did or not lol! Great video as always! My pic for a 10 out of 10 co-op game would have to be Metal Slug. Any of them really. I have so much fun playing them with people every time I’ve played it!
