A rather massive compilation video of buses mostly from MTA NYC Bus with some Coach USA action on the side. I would've gotten more Coach USA stuff but some buses came at the wrong time. All clips were taken during the rush hour.

Some are used as inter-borough express routes and the others are used for upstate or in New Jersey. They are meant for long haul and fits more passengers per bus than a regular local bus.

Oh no no no.
The Coach USA MCIs you see here operate from NYC to Upstate NY and New Jersey, commuters who use those buses to get to where they have to get on those.
The MTA New York City Bus coach buses you see here operate from borough to borough. The ones featured here, the x28 and BM2 goes to Brooklyn from Midtown. The x17/x17C and x22/x22A goes from Midtown, Manhattan to various parts of Staten Island. Commuters who travels to and from there uses these routes.

Hey, don't knock 5 50 or even 6 bucks for an express bus ride into manhattan. From Rockland county they pay 11 75 each way. it's the exact same coach buses, D 4500's or even the nicer, more luxurious D4505 and it takes exactly the same amount of time from Rockland into Manhattan. about 1 hour. BTW shaneakacaitsith, that was me driving the S/L 70285, yep the pick up on that hybrid electric bus is that good. Very smooth and quiet and very dependable
