Kev Mac this was done very respectfully. Much appreciated how you do everything with respect Im glad I pay you now because you have provided me with years of free content
I’m from Pompano Beach Fl. Grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and use to see the bloods and crips documentaries about how bad it was and you’re basically basically giving other parts of the country a chance to see the brothers and sisters that was in the middle of all of it..Appreciate at
Y'all didn't waste anytime with those questions in this interview. He did pretty good answering. I thank I remember Kev saying he didn't want to put this interview out right after his death. Much respect
Seen a lot of interviews. Really enjoyed this one. OG memory is crazy for his age. Not only do they remember the years, but the first and last names of friends and enemies. Amazing man
BIG KEV I didn't think we would get to see this one. Worth the price of admission by itself. SIP Mr Roberts. A peaceful rest in the arms of the Most High.
These old timers- he seems like family 😅.... they have this uncanny sense of humor, serious exterior, heart of gold, and this incredible ability to toss out one liners breaking out with a stoic smile
This my 3rd time watching the OG. He don't bullshit with it. You ask him a question and he get straight to it. And everybody from Santana speak highly of him. Again, SIP to the general.
New York dudes swear we Cali dudes hate them. But if you listen to many of the old timers. They’ll tell you it was always a sprinkle of New York dudes that was accepted & embraced into L.A. gang bangin. There has never been a blind hate for New York. If it’s any animosity it was earned.
OG stood stall when asked about Bounty Hunters. " I'm still here"... Gangsta!! BTW, this one of those Netflix/Master P/ Amazon Prime funding type of content, in the vault type of interview!!
Santana was like the 92’ dream team. So many S and A Class G, no matter if what they’re roles were, not glorify by far just my articulation/perspective of it. Santana needs a playlist of its own with new interviews, subjects and topics, individual and collectively if the 1st 3rd generation starting as Mid Town and OPB leading into the uncanny Santana Blocc.
I really appreciate your videos it sheds a lot of light on the culture.. I was wondering if you would be willing because I'm very curious along with other folks if you would be willing to do interviews with other gangs outside of crips and bloods one in particularly I definitely would like you to do an interview is for the gangster crip disciples and also the gangs out of Oakland it would be nice to hear how certain gangs that we're not crips and bloods that were from the other coast how they were able to come to California and to establish their self in the middle in the midst of the crib and blood era. Please continue to do what you do I'm glad that you made it through all those hard times the war riddled streets and to come out on the other end in a positive uplifting way much respect to you.
Growing up in L A all of us were not in gangs but they were in our life you playing outside as a little kid then u wake up one day u a teen in the middle of war!!!!RIP
This brother had a very interesting life. We are the same age, but our locations were different. I'm outta Ohio. It's funny, he was in the Job Corps in Utah from '71 to '72. I was in Job Corps those same years, but I was in that same program, but in Indiana. He must've been a bad brother to have sparred with George Foreman during that time period. R.I.P, cool brother.
@@duaneharris6415 Another one of my old school big homies! Not many of us still around. Thanks for the real info. I was at Atterbury Job Corps in Edinburgh, Indiana during that period.
I like the 🎥 you are doing. I watch LOCOVISION cuz im in Texas and he seems like a straight up guy. I do troll haters on this account, but Im not on your channel to troll. Respect to you and the videos you do.
Good one Kev, From my personal research Tookie had much more influence on more reputable. crips in Compton, W/S, or E/S than than any leader or founder in L.A. combined.
@Curve Ballz It seems everybody knows Tookie and Jimil, and now people claim to know Raymond, not many know Mac, and I am going all the way back to 1972, also was not really known in watts, I would say Puddin was way more known than Mac.
I have done research of this and no body speaks anything about Mac in 69,70, maybe 71 and Tookie was before Mac, in fact Zane was before Mac and to say Mac was there just is not true, I fact check B'S prove me wrong.
I ain't heard his voice in decades. Sounds different with age. I'm glad Santana became Crips. That would've been one more Piru sect we would've had to fight, and they have a lot of territory. It would've been Alondra Blvd. vs. Rosecrans Blvd. in the city of Compton. From juvenile camps to prison, there has always been at least two Santanas on most yards I've been on, and I I've been on quite a few. Killer Wayne was on one of 'em. The Compton car would be a little bit shorter on the yard. Compton High has no Pirus, but Tree Top, 151, Cedar Blocc, and maybe Fruit Town and NHP would feel comfortable going there if Santana was there to help out, cuz those Piru hoods are in close enough walking distance to Compton high, but they choose to go to Centennial with all the other Pirus on the west side, while Pirus on the east side sometimes tried their lucc at Dominguez, but none OPENLY had a presence at Compton High. Santanas used to go to Dominguez too. That would've been different, cuz Dominguez had to fight to be a Crip school, while Compton High was automatically Crips. With Killer Wayne coming from the Nickersons, Santana could've easily been Pirus on Rosecrans.
Old heads like this trip u out they look like their out of it 4 a 2nd then they say some shit to let u know their completely competent and coherent haha..Got family like this

Would killer wayne be considered 1st generation crip or 2nd? I know he's founder/ 1st generation midtown/ Santana
1st
2nd. 1st generation is 69-71, Eastside then Westside. 72-74 is 2nd, Compton then Inglewood. But Carver Park was out before the Westside.
Rest up O.G. 💙
