5:30 well said, that was what I was thinking before I choose my class levels, I came to america late so i couldn"t get ap classes but i got honors ones and hopfully i am going to get pre calc honors online because i am junior and getting algebra 2 honors now so that i would get ap calc next year and ap chistry i think. Make sure that hard teacher actually knows how to teach.. My college chemistry profressor is a nice lady but she probably couldn't even teach a kid to tie his shoe. Some professors are so bad and can't speak english well enough that you have to honestly teach yourself the material.
During lunch I always feel pressured to eat with my friends even though I want to do my assignments. I've gone to the library instead of eat lunch with them and they seem to get offended and distant. Did you ever have this problem in high school?
+Tyra Pennix thank you :) I was in cheer, spanish club, key club, I also did ROP retail program as well as take lots of ROP (regional occupation program) computer classes :) wasn't involved in too much stuff but I did have a 4.3 I got all a's in school I think I got one B in cheer one year :)
I currently go to a college prep school, and Im doing poorly in the writing portion of english. Do you have any recommendations for doing better on writing grades? I have already taken that "teacher that everyone hates" and she teaches like the class is AP, so I am hoping to do well again, since i was close to failing in that class due to my writing grades.
hmmm the only thing about that is it is based on your school and what they offer so each school is different in the way UCLA evaluated your academic challenges
+Amy Roberts ask your teacher for the work in advance, or maybe if they could email work to you? Or ask your friends to send you pictures of the work? I'm sure if you're just open with the teachers of the classes you miss they would be more than willing to help you succeed :)
What is the Canadian equivalent of AP classes? Is it academic? We have locally developed, applied(which is the normal), and academic (more work and less hands on)
Hey Amanda! My dream school is UCLA but Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) is not available at my school. Is there any alternative to this like joining a team or acting class? Thanks!
+Mohammed Siddiqui you can take a VPA class at your local community college! And if you don't want to do that you can join band or something bc that counts as a vpa at my school.

The Canadian educational system has AP classes. It stands for Advanced Placement and it is a higher academic level than the academic level
