In today's video, i take you guys along for a day in Akihabara, one of Tokyo's coolest cities! Unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn't do too much during the day. We were able to spot some cool cars in the UDX parking garage. Later that night, we hopped in the Tokyo Drift Evo & made it out to Daikoku. We got to see some really amazing cars and go on a Wangan run in the evo with some friends! We ended at a secret parking garage car meet and found out my car is broken...

This is the exact day I would do everyday in Tokyo. Game stores, arcades and food. Then daikoku and nights runs. This is what heaven looks like.

@tonytony123 I'm 36. I bought my first property when I was 20, I had a 16 year career already in one sector, and just finished my degree in June to start my second career. I also did all of this while caring for a chronically ill wife. I live in Vancouver, Canada and the cost of living here and real estate here would make you vomit. I am tired and have been working my ass off for 16 years, take your "let me tell you something about the world" comment and kick rocks bud.

Dustin is living his Tokyo drift dream, not just him but for all of us.
I had the same no start issue with my wife's Evo 8. Turned out it was the ignition barrel getting loose and when turning the key to start the car, it would twist with the key and not trigger the starter. If memory serves me correct, pulling the steering wheel column trim will allow you access to a screw you can tighten to lock the barrel back into place. Try to keep key chains and anything heavy off your ignition key or it'll keep happening. Keep the vlogs coming 🫡

The sound track is perfect, honestly it’s fantastic
100% the starter on the car, my Evo did the same thing. It can also be the solenoid wire at the starter, they sometimes come loose or break at the eyelet!
The Tokyo drift evo is sick but I loved your white evo. I know you sold it. But it sounded so freaking good. It was a clean build. All your builds are clean af.
Tap the starter with a wrench or a hamer while trying to crank the engine. It will free it up and let you start the car. Still going to need to change it for a new one, though.

Loving the Japan content, as always! It's so cool to see your progression with learning Japanese, too. The first time you went there, you couldn't speak a lick of Japanese and had to have Masa translate for you. This trip, you've been talking to people everywhere, confidently, and it's so cool to see. The part at around 17:45 where you saw the sick Evo, were talking about it in English, then switched to Japanese when you found the owner and were asking him questions about the car, was amazing.

Either the clutch switch or the starter solenoid I’d say. Easy fix for both!
Awesome content! Its probably already fixed but if the little black clip on the starter comes off it will have the same symptoms as a dead starter.

I ran into the same issue recently with my Porsche. Check your battery connections. They tend to develop some white powdery stuff that prevent a proper connection. The starter doesn't get the full power of the battery. Cheers.
