The layout is nice . The only thing I don’t like is the main bedroom entrance is in the living room. I also would have a sliding door to the back of the house in the dining room. Cute little house.

This floorplan is pretty awesome! For me, I'd delete the second vanity and put the commode in that space. I'd also delete the bookshelf to the side of the television. Then center the TV in the wall so that speakers will have proper imagery for surround sound

A guy that does homes on another channel explained the difference in floor vents vs ceiling vents is what the climate is where the homes are manufactured. In warmer areas it’s ceiling, cold it’s floor. It’s because warm air rises.

Hello Chance! Well I kinda like this home. But of course, there are things, mostly minor but not all, that I'd change. First on the outside. If I'm going to have shutters, without covered porches, I'd want ones that can be used as window covers; worked manually and electrically, in case of bad storms. I'd want to be able to open all the windows except transit ones. #1) In the Living Room, I'd put in a small coat closet on the wall there in the foyer. I'd also make that fireplace a gas one. I'd have full carpet in the living room. #2) There might actually be room around the island to leave it as it is! The Cook Stove looks like a Gas one - that is what I would want! The Pantry is not a bad size; it's not real big, but okay. That window over sink looks like it will open, great if it does, but if it doesn't, that would be changed. We don't need a dishwasher so remove it and put in another cabinet or drawers. I don't like open cabinets either, so I'd have doors put on them. No microwave, and not a good place to put one except on the island itself. #3) There might be room for Grandma's China Cabinet on the solid wall in the Dining Room! I'd have those windows in the dining room changed to half-glass doors and put an enclosed deck/porch out there. #4) Floorplan shows a door going into that Utility area. You only showed an open doorway, that I could see anyway. I'd actually put a door there if there isn't one. Only way to be able to use that Office set-up; too much noise from the rest of the house otherwise. Probably wouldn't want to use the office while washing clothes either! Anyway, the Utility Room is very nice! I would completely close off the door into the bathroom though, as you don't really need it. I can then use that space for an upright freezer inside the utility room! At the back door, we'd build a Garage with a Storage unit in it, and probably a pet shower, and/or a bigger pantry. #5) The guest bathroom we'd leave as is. The two Guest Bedrooms and their closets would be combined. Three quarters of the combined rooms would be turned into my Library Room with a small sitting area with a small gas fireplace, carpet in sitting area. The other one quarter of the combined area would be enclosed and soundproofed for my Music Studio Rooms. #6) The Master Bedroom is a good size; carpet in here. I like it that there is a his/her's Closet set-up; might put carpet in those too! The slightly bigger one would be mine, of course! They are in the bathroom, which I don't usually like much, but being just inside the bathroom door, makes it seem like they Aren't in the bathroom! Speaking of doors, that Barn Door has to go! Do not like barn doors in the house! I'd go with a Pocket Door, or an accordion door maybe, if neither is possible, then just a regular door. In the Bathroom itself I'd remove the shower and install a big Handicapped Tub/Shower Combo. I'd also remove that full window and just put in a transit window and then move the commode over to where it's more centered in that wall space, giving it more room around the commode (as it's shown, I wouldn't be able to sit on the commode without hitting the wall on that one side, not comfortable!). I love the his/her's vanity area's!! #7) We'd add porches and/or decks all around the house to the garage; some enclosed and some just covered. As I said Chance, I kinda like this home. Most of the changes I'd make are minor one, I think. The Library Music Studio might be considered major, but I don't Think any of the rest would be. Anyway, thanks for showing this one. Considering how high everything is now-a-days, the price range wasn't too bad either! Hope your weather is better than ours. As I'm typing this it is raining here in Arkansas. Suppose to have storms later tonight and tomorrow. I really hope they are wrong again, at least about the storms and how long everything is suppose to last. I love the main bed and bath. I'd only change one thing. It needs to be in the back of the house. In my opinion the main bed and bath should be separated from the hubbub of the household, a refuge if you will. Very lovely staging.
I love the big-picture windows in front of the sink. I would have some herbs plants growing there and cut what I need to put in the food. Fresh herbs 🌿 are the best. I also love the fact that there are two closets in the master room. My husband & I would share. One side would be our colder months' for our clothing & the other would be for warmer months. Having to change your whole clothing around twice a year sucks. Lol, I hate it. So this would be great for that. Would never have to deal with that again. It would already be done. The best way

Exactly, placing the vents in the baseboard or kickplate in the kitchen cabinets would work so much better and move the warm air across the floor not straight up.
I am not a fan of this one, you need more drawers in the kitchen unless you want to see your serving spoons in containers on your cabinets, I cook everyday and I have not got enough in my single wide and I have 1 more then that showed. In the main bath they need the toilet in its own room unless the are going to put a door of some kind on the linen closet area, because of germs when you flush the toilet, yuk.
I really like the arrangement of the two closets with the primary bath. I love that you don’t have to walk through the bathroom to get to the closets. In the utility room I would leave out the little cabinet so there would be a place for the second fridge/freezer.
IMO if you put closets in the bathroom a water closet should be a MUST! I would never be able to get dressed if my husband was in that bathroom in the morning and we had those closets. I don’t want mine in the bathroom. Our next house is having a water closet in the master bath. No ifs and or buts about it.

The 1970's seams, is an eye sore. A deal breaker with that primary suite right off the living room, the kitchen island is too close to the living room. This house seems a lil more on the modern side to have barn doors in my opinion. Well, it's an ok house.....
I loved this home as soon as you opened the front door! Downside? I've commented before that my preference is a sliding glass door in the dining room as opposed to the windows. But it's still beautiful. And I wish they could have relocated the heating vent that's in the kitchen floor. But the overall look and layout is perfect!💖

It's nice. I only need a 2/2. I would get rid of first bdrm and use the extra space to expand LR, create a coat closet and expand the bedroom. I need a private office, so I would extend the bedroom to make it a office/guest room. I would get rid of office nook and make it a book shelf/display area. Then I would close off utility/mudroom with barn door of sliding frosted glass door. In master I would merge the linen shelf area with walk in closet to expand the walk in. Make the second closet a linen closet. Create a vanity area, turn the sink on the right into a walk in tub and add a bench seat in the shower. I love the shower doors but not sure how easy they will be to keep clean. Alternative- in master keep sink on right side, forgo tub, and create vanity area on left side.

I thought it was nice, but I would put a backup fridge/freezer where the 🚪 to the bathroom is in the utility room. I don't like having 2 entrances to 1 bathroom, I'd be afraid someone would walk in on me. That's why I'm not a fan of Jack and Jill bathrooms.
I love the layout of this home, especially the utility and primary bathroom. Board & batten walls always stand out for me due to the darker/Brown colours. This time it took a while before I noticed. The lighter colours looked so much better.

In yesteryear prefab homes, people feared that a mighty storm could rip them from their foundations. I know they are better constructed, and I have recently heard straps tie the home down on three (3) sides. Let's talk about the sturdiness of these homes, sir. Please, and thank you. Agree on the vanity - or mostly on the open commode concept. I’ve always preferred the commode be slightly closed off or in a small space all its own.

Happy Valentines day everybody
I thought it was nice, but I would put a backup fridge/freezer where the 🚪 to the bathroom is in the utility room. I don't like having 2 entrances to 1 bathroom, I'd be afraid someone would walk in on me. That's why I'm not a fan of Jack and Jill bathrooms.
I love the layout of this home, especially the utility and primary bathroom. Board & batten walls always stand out for me due to the darker/Brown colours. This time it took a while before I noticed. The lighter colours looked so much better.
How much is this multisectional home exactly as it sits? Who do I call to find out. I want it EXACTLY as it sits. Absolutely beautiful.
This is lovely. I would get rid of that second sink in the master and put a nice soaking tub. I'm 5'10 and it's hard to soak all my bits. 😂

Love the shower, BUT you knew that was coming. Where do you put anything. There are no shelves.

In yesteryear prefab homes, people feared that a mighty storm could rip them from their foundations. I know they are better constructed, and I have recently heard straps tie the home down on three (3) sides. Let's talk about the sturdiness of these homes, sir. Please, and thank you.
