Hi, Thank you for the making. I have a parasisal capeline at home that I need to do something with. And you have made me realize that I need a block of some description soonest. I also have a poly-braid hat, but it's to big so I have to figure out how to make a smaller hat from that one. if you have any suggestions on how to do I would be grateful. It's to big to stick anything inside the petersham ribbon to make it fit my head. Another unrelated question that stems from your materials video. How do you handle woven Toya? Can it be molded like a natural fiber (albeit much weaker I assume, as I know it's paper), or as a an unnatural fiber, and can only sew with it? Yours, Ann
Hi Ann, the problem with polybraid is that you only have 2 options. One is to unstitch and sew into a smaller hat or 2 is to make a lining for the crown in a thick fabric. Toyo can be steamed and shaped, but just don't let it get soaked. Cheers
It's just the most charming little hat!!
Thank you 🤠 just what I needed to see today, with healing from my Hip replacement Timely and so brilliant Sara 💖
Wishing you a speedy recovery 😘
That was brilliant, thanks I will try it ❤
Who knew ? What a transformation!
I Love this! Very Neat!!
