So good to see Karr get the love they deserve. These kids work hard and it shows. This is a complete program that demonstrates consistency year in and year out. Not having a revolving door of directors every other year definitely is the key to establishing an identity and culture that can remain solid for years to come. JSU inspired or not, Karr has maintained a reputation for keeping a strong structured staff together and I believe that is a major reason why they consistently are in the top tier of marching bands within the state. Mr. H has done a fantastic job of rebranding and rebuilding this program in a style unlike what Karr had previously been known for. Hats off to his staff and the hardworking band members at Edna Karr. ✊
Karr sounds and looks good. I'm from Florida well Miami to be exact and I follow bands across the country. When I get to New Orleans I'm like where is the halftime show not a stand battle. But I have to say Karr sounds and looks good on both ends. The stands and halftime.
The number 1 band in New Orleans hands down. They have discipline, they march high on the same foot, everyone looks the same, they sound good, they have great stage presence, structure, order, the drummajor can dance, direct and lead the band…. Don’t wanna hear no one mention anything about any other band in New Orleans better than them till I see something similar to this with whatever style you’re doing! Don’t wanna here you beat them in a stand battle either because anybody can play standing still 🤷🏾♂️ Sarah T Reed is on their way up there too!
@@bluesbros99 nah…. Abe drum section ain’t up to par, and the band looks uncoordinated when they march. Yall definitely don’t drive and do fieldshows like this… it takes more to being number 1 then just winning a gym battle. Think outside the box!
@@arntrezlacy399 St. Aug has one of the best programs in America, but lately you never know what Aug you’re going to get…lately the band has been to laid back and only come hard when their playing Karr. You have to be consistent year round to be number 1!
@@bluesbros99 Abe can definitely blow 💯 no doubt about it…. But can they march, can they look alike, can the drum section pick up the slack a little, can yall come to a competition like this and wow the audience with fieldshows??? Until we see more than just yall blowing and getting ignant, yall definitely will still set at 2-3 spot 💯🤷🏾♂️ Be consistent with EVERYTHING that has to do with band year round! Yall not built like that…. Yall show up when yall want to. That ain’t number 1 band energy.

Definitely the best band in New Orleans in my opinion. If not one of the best high school band in the country!
Sound and look good great job 👏🏽🫡💯⚜️
My top band in Louisiana
Let’s Geaux KARR
They sound better “T”han “S”ome “U”niversity bands.
Bro that is heavy 🤣
that says a lot for you to be mentioning them
Tennessee or Texas?
@@BHeru-wq5kv DEFINITELY not Tennessee State. They’re the best sounding HBCU band in the country.
@@nolabornandraised8181 AOB has a great program, idk about the best though. definitely top 10 though.
