Ainsley Kidd What sort of record keeping? As in keeping a record of worming/jabs or keeping your horses paperwork organised? Ive not heard of the term 'record keeping' for anything but organising vet visits ect but if thats not what you mean i'll be happy to reaserch it and make a video for you!
Ainsley Kidd I can certainly do that for you for the new year, that will be a really interesting video! Perhaps Jab is a english phrase 🙈 its a abbreviation of 'injection' or 'vaccine' ☺️
If u want a cheap place to by horsey things in the uk I recommend robinsons you can get a 42" Haynes there for £1.60! And they loads of other good priced things!
Charlottes Pets Thank you! I did look on there but their sale had finished 😩 there was some stuff that i was looking at but i managed to save on shipping by ordering it from ebay 🙈
Typically Teddy Me too, it still doesnt feel real! Haha but he's got such great movement for a 2yo who's done no training so im so excited to work with him!
Its amazing how some horses are so natural in their movement with very little training. I bought my youngster a couple of months ago, he is only 3 and he offers so much already!
Typically Teddy Its so exciting isnt it seeing all that potential with little to no training whatsoever! I definately got him for a steal for how much potential he has! 😍
I have two of the equidor stable rugs for my two cus they kept killing them anyway so didn't want expensive ones this year and they are actually really nice, especially for the price 🦄
Danielle Dennis In both our situations its pointless getting expensive rugs! Im glad you've found them good though, im really pleased with the quality for the price, just had never heard of that brand before! But i think i'll be sticking with that brand untill he's fully grown!
In actually going to move to a bigger property soon (in about 6 months) and I am thinking of getting a riding horse and I'm not sure what breed to get? (I'm a beginner) if anyone here knows lots about horses could you please give me some suggestion's
I dont think its so much about breed but about the personality. I'd personally go by what you're looking at rather than breed. Make a list of what you're looking for and what you're going to do with it as well as your budget as Taylor E said. So, for example when i was looking for horses I knew i wanted something between 14.2 and 15.2 as i struggle riding bigger horses. I also knew i wanted something around 3-6 years old (i know i ended up getting something younger!) that i could use as a project to eventually go eventing with when it was ready and that i only had a budget of around £1000-1500 at most. I put up ads stating what i was after and my budget and went from there. Sure i knew i'd like a Welsh, so put my ad in a few welsh pony groups on facebook, but i was also open to other breeds as long as we suited as a pair and i felt comfortable with them!
izzy grace honestly if your a beginner I wouldn't recommend buying a horse unless you can tack (and know if it fits and different bits etc) groom and do first aid know about nutrition, etc, unless your saying your new to owning! Honestly a cob cross is the best, hardy but flashy with just the right amount of zaz and calmness
izzy grace if your a beginner than I would recommend an older horse, and it depends on what breed fits you but I would but a older horse that know what it's doing so it teaches you more.😊😄
iloulou mitchell actually horses need blankets so they can keep warm if they are grazing. Please do your research. They need warm blankets and fly masks and blankets and a whole ton of other blankets. :/
Haul starts at 3:08

Could you do a video about record keeping for your horse? I always hear about it but I never know what to include or how to format it.

CounterCanter Thank you! You're one of my top 10 equestrian TH-camrs.
Ainsley Kidd Thank you so much!
I absolutely love your glasses! I wear both contacts and glasses, and my glasses look exactly like yours whenever I wear them.
They're a really nice frame! I was hesitant at first as they are pretty blue but they're so unique!
I got the same halter a week ago!

I would definitely recommend a cob! I don't own a horse but all the cobs I rode are so gentle and kind and easy to work with❤️
