No way! I'm also planning to move to Thailand end of this year. Dec 2025. Going to save up all year and leave everything behind! I plan to do a scuba dive master internship. With work in that field eventually.. but I also would like to utilize all year to try different online work. As long as I can make 500 a month, I can keep my savings as savings :) What made you want to make the move ?

Happy New Year Mac. I’ve only recently started to watch your channel. I’ve watched because we will be there on January 4th through the 14th. My wife is an American born Thai national. We are making this trip to discover her heritage and investigate possibly moving there. I watched your videos to try and understand the culture of “Walking Street” as to not be ignorant or disrespectful of the culture. And, I’d say, you have addressed in the most respectful way compared to many other channels. While that is not an interest of ours, you do carry yourself well and have obviously learned more than expected. As for this video, it shows that you are maturing as a young man. And while you want to create deeper content, which is great, you may lose some of your audience that may be looking only for advice about soi 6 and that life style. To that I say, go with your gut and what you are feeling now. This transition you are talking about will attract an even more serious audience that may want to find a more peaceful place to live and will need to navigate the immigration issues and how to find a nice place to live. I have checked out a number of You Tubers in Thailand, I am only subscribed to your channel, really enjoy your content. Brings back a lot of memories, did the travel around and party time (too much...). My first trip to Thailand was in 1988, returned at least once a year until I married a Thai girl in 1999. I have travelled throughout Thailand and could speak basic Thai. Now have four half thai/half farang children who are young adults.
