Words can't express just how proud I am of Sheryl Underwood. Sis has come a long long way from her Comic View days, which is where I first discovered her. I've been a fan ever since. I love when our people, especially our women are winning. Black Excellence at its finest.

You can't tell a person who's been cut how to bleed. Chris allowed everyone who wasn't him the actual person who was assaulted talk about it so its only fair that person who was slapped has the final say and can talk whenever he sees fit. That's the thing about comedians they're always going to have the final word and material.

No one said nor implied anything like that. And Chris didn’t “allow” anything. People do what they want regardless of what others feel and or think about it.
She gave her (her being the KEY word) opinion about it. Simple and plain as that.
Chris as the black man he is called a black woman (no matter what me, you, or anyone else thinks about her) a Bitch on live television. And was purposely keeping her name in his mouth.
He also specifically stated what he perceives he can and or cannot do in front of “white people”. He did way more than “bleed” from a Will Smith cut. He openly showed his true colors as a man.
Will Smith has & will continue to deal with his decisions, behavior, and actions (as well as the consequences) just like every other adult on this planet.
Chris is not innocent. He needs to go to therapy and sit down somewhere. Its crazy how people are easily influenced to go one way. How does Chris continue to feel like he was a victim and bullied and speak of getting bullied when he was young but turn around and pick a career that consist of doing the same thing. Will is not excused of his actions but Chris is because he is a comedian? (Its still bullying), yes he was being disrespectful to Jada and to Wills black wife (he (Will) understand the assignment).
Yes Will could have handled it differently but I don't criminalize him because he's human.
Since the Oscar's is suppose to be so prestige, then Chris failed Will and Jada because that was his moment to say, "I see my brother Will is up for a nomination and I wish him goodluck.
Chris has surpass comedian status and have been given the opportunity to speak on major platforms, and act on big TV screens enough to know there's a time and place for what he did. We have seen Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Samuel Jackson exhibit nothing less of being a class act when they are on stage at an award ceremony (they congratulate each other).
So for black women to side with Chris being disrespectful to black women (no different then the disrespect in rap music and other platforms that degrade and disrespect black women need to understand that its not ok and it is unacceptable. Period.

Chris has already said in interviews that he has his own therapist. HOW someone heals, and when someone chooses to do so is their choice.
