I was making progress in violin for almost 2 years, then a relationship breakup completly threw my life into imbalance and i put my violin down. I picked it up the other day and couldn't play it like i used to and it was a huge knock to my confidence. I couldn't even remember how to read music so I find myself here as I idolised the way you guys play. Thanks for the amazing music ladies! - At least i can still play guitar :D
Absolutely incredible. Growing up in north Texas, Panola county, Carthage. and fishing Tenaha Creek this brings up alot of childhood memories. Many a night on Granmama's old wood porch....

Jenny - you're a really talented composer... I hope you know that. Especially for this traditional sound. I like the Texas swing rhythm better than the album version - which was innovative and interesting, but not nearly as charming. This old-timey feel is amazing. You should compose more of these!
Great tune! It sounds like a Dunbar Furey song called the "lonesome boatman". You are very inspirational. It makes me want to get back into music. My ex stole all my vintage instruments and sold them on eBay. Note to self: never get involved with a non-musician.
