I have a Chromebook. It seems like my version of Excel has a pared down tool bar. I can't find some of the things that the instructor is talking about. Am I looking in the wrong places or do I need to get a regular laptop, instead of this Chromebook, to truly learn Word and Excel? Thanks.

I am wondering, while using Excel in the work place, on occasion another user of the spreadsheet will save the spreadsheet and leave while filters are still on. When I go to search for my info, that info may not be displayed or the function I just ran maybe no good because I didn't realize there was a filter on. Is there away to display or alert when I filter is on anywhere in the workbook?
