I'm just an ordinary church member from Chile ,South America , perhaps meaningless for many brethren but I love listening to these BYU messages to enhance my ear training in the language of the prophets....I've been up to a point self-taught in the long and narrow path leading to mastering English and to tell the plain truth this video killed me ...The beauty of its words , the poetry that can be found in it are a privilege to my soul and ears... My best wishes to all my anglo brothers and sisters. Hopefully some day I can develop a better proficiency level in English so I can be able to share deeper thoughts...I 've even asked to some missionaries to give me a hand for years ,but being honest no more than four have helped for some minutes , behaviour I truly understand as they come to my country to share the gospel not to listen to an old man like me. I have no hard feelings against them ,on the contrary I pray every night the Heavenly Father help them to communicate in a language not their own ,but if some day in their p-days they could share only half an hour a week to help me I'll be blissful. (We must always bear in mind DC 93:36 "The glory of God is intelligence",so I do hope in a near future some missionary policies evolve for the benefit of the outcasts like me...)

23 years and counting and I couldn't have said it better. I will add that I've found it critical that, while your companion is your spouse first, they're your friend the most. This has been one of the most important things to remember when you are in the middle of whatever trials because the fur will not always fly and you will need that friendship to get you through the occasional tedium as well as the added support when it does.
it seems that many great things come in marriage by the effort put in by both husband and wife.
I love this! Thank you President Hinckley. Marriage really can be as you described it - and you showed it by loving your spouse in such a manner.

Nice story ,I remember hinckley, but I'm still singel.........still locking for the right one..
Good luck. Be sure you make yourself ‘the right one’. Be a shining beacon of virtue and strength and that becomes very attractive. Choose Christ and the rest will follow.
