I'm studying for a technical interview next week for a job that requires both design and coding, and while I am familiar with Figma already, this was a great quick-and-concise refresher. I learned a couple new things as well. Thanks!

Trust me, out of 100s i had viewed online, this is the first ever crash course i completed without the forward key. Superb content. Thanks a lot.

I've been working with Figma this past year and am getting more comfortable with it!! Even though...watching these videos I always learn something new. Thanks for the auto layout explanation!!! Very helpful. :)

So all that not to have a working website?
What program do you bring the export assets to finish the site? Great course tho. 🙌

I spend some time looking for a Figma course, that was well created. That means: good voice, editing, structured, logical, easy to follow, etc...You did it, thank you!
After the first min I could tell, you were the right course.
Being my self a course creator it is hard to settle for anything less than great content, so I really appreciate this course

This is exactly what I was looking for (not how to build a product, but just a good solid overview of the software) I learned XD first and so I needed a good crash course to become familiar with the figma software.

Thank you, Adrian. This was so helpful. May I make a small suggestion/critique? Light gray font on a white background is hard for some people to read. The aesthetics of a design are important, but they're not more important than making sure *everyone* can read and use the website. But the good thing is that, in this lesson, you've taught us how to make the appropriate changes to eliminate the issue I just brought up. 😄

Kewl tutorial. Appreciate it. Why do you leave textboxes inline with the grid? For instance the header text WE ARE CREATIVES has a much wider textbox than the text it holds and the textbox edges aligns with the grid columns edges a great distance to the left and right instead of having the textbox hug the text itself. Any particular reason for this?

Any place to define viewport in Figma? In XD there's this guide you can drag inside the canvas/frame to set the viewport. So when you prototype and preview the layout you get the authentic viewport that you set. Very handy when designing for a specific device where you wanna see how the layout looks like in first viewport before scroller appears. You get everything authentic to how the end user will see it on that screen resolution. I miss that feature in Figma. Have I overlooked anything?

A lot of issues that are activated by default in 2022 Figma came up within 10 min of this video. I had issues with the frame defaulted to hug vs fixed. I only changed the height to fixed because it's the only one to adjust for this tutorial. This caused issues with the frame changing size when adding the shape. Once I fixed that I had issues with Auto Layout being default activated by Figma which made it difficult to adjust the shape and logo. Once I turned all of that off I was able to follow along. just wanted to share in case anyone else has these issues.
