The event today is great, but it doesn’t seem to bring the quality & quantity of cars that were there in the 90s and early 00s. Is it because they’re too valuable/collector cars now and the owners don’t want to (risk) driving them?
Owners are all old guys living in Chicago and Florida, no young drivers interested in historic racing anymore, they will just sit in basements and garages forever unfortunately
@@marklangren3142 yeah 33 in 1992, now you're in your 60s, vintage racing today is a dying sport, less and less commitment from the drivers with the difficult to drive cars like the Can-Ams because of age
