Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel!
In this video, I have swatched and reviewed 8 out of the 18 shades available in the Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipstick range.
Lipsticks swatched in order of appearance:
1. Razia
2. Cleopatra
3. Monalisa
4. Coco
5. Marilyn
6. Frida
7. Madhu
8. Jane
These lipsticks retail for Rs.599 each for 5gms of product, however, I had bought them from www.nykaa.com/nykaa-ultra-mat... for Rs.479 each.
*I have filmed this video in natural lighting with bare minimum makeup so as to give y'all a good idea of how the shades look. Also, all the lipsticks were bought by me.*

Yes... Totally agree with you 👍 👍 I wonder why other youtubers rely on artificial lighting and heavy makeup while doing the lipstick swatches... I mean it totally spoils the purpose of the lipstick swatch videos and makes it useless and we people tend to not look out for their further swatch videos if it is not helpful for us... But still, those youtubers still continue their swatches with artificial lighting even after requests from many subscribers....I mean that renders their swatch videos unreliable and useless 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I totally rely on this channel and Meghnas description of the lipstick shades clearly that it helps many of us even if we belong to different skintones 💋💋😎😎

I have the shade of monalisa that exactly looks like this but the TH-camrs swatching with too much of lighting and filters so the exact lipstick color couldn't be found.. I really appreciate your work this is gonna help lot of ppl who are in ur undertones ... Impressed by the swatches of yours.

Try diana and cher , diana will flatter all skin tone and cher is a bright pink with red undertone and will suit fair to medium skin tone

I also have Diana. Yes it's good for daily wear. I also got compliment wearing Grace. These two are very good for daily use.

Is monalisa similar to the shade lead the way from maybelline superstay ink crayon? Or is darker?
Real swatches and actual review, this is what makes me watch every video of yours. I really like these lipsticks as they have a very long staying power and don’t dry out lips. I have 7 shades and i like all of them- Cleopatra, Jane, Monalisa, Diana, Coco, Merylin, Grace. My favourite shade is Coco and Diana. Grace is my least favourite as it suits me only in winters.

Suchetana Adhikari i have Jane and its a pretty shade if you are NC40 or below. Its a nude shade but has some warmth ( slight orange like tone with brown)

The most *appreciative part* in your review is explaining the "undertones" of each lipstick shade it's really useful to know about... And also a request on NYX full throttle lipstick, NYX powder puff lippie...
Do you know where I could get nyx full throttle lipsticks? I already own 2 shades which I bought from Amazon at a steep price. But they are too damn pigmented and too damn smooth . And I can't imagine what I would do when I run out of them.
I think you can buy in nykaa for ₹600 each... And the good thing is we can purchase during the discounts too na...
But the thing for the request is I wanted to know that which shade works best on my Wheatish skin tone...

@@aboutlipstickswatches4520 Nyx Full Throttle Locked is a beautiful shade....kind of mulberry with maroon or pinkish undertones...its fabulous...one swipe and my pigmented lups are fully covered. Matte finish and yet not drying at all. No wonder Americans are crazy about Nyx. You can check out their swatches videos on youtube and decide for yourself which shade suits you.

Good that you are doing swatches without too much makeup or bright lights because it helps to identify the right shade . Very helpful . Unlike the movie-quality videos by famous youtubers that are not at all helpful .

Are these lipsticks easy to glide? Cause my previous lipstick ( it's not from nykaa, it's just some street lipstick) didn't glide so well, I had rub so much for colour and it looked patchy, will this nykaa lipstick looks patchy? I ordered Coco 17 it's yet to come

There are quite a few but they are not all done in natural light and even done with heavy eye makeup which is not helpful unlike your swatches....Many of the shades are quite dark and bright... Except 2 or 3 shades and I am sure you will rock all of these shades😎😎💄💄
