Yeah I'm not predicting a happy ending. I feel like they will sacrifice themselves to put the firebird back in its cage. At the very least Naksu will die, cause the body is going to reject her soul. The only way I can see them getting around it is if they do get a second ice stone when the firebird escapes and that can be in Naksu and they will both live that way. I just don't trust the Hong Sisters to give us a happy ending.

"I am also starting to get confused about what it is that I truly want from you" is Jang Uk's version of "I feel like I am starting to like you". He doesn't want to admit it out loud yet tho. He's just frustrating himself further by denying it and telling himself he doesn't care. He feels guilty about the fact that he's about to give his heart to someone else. But I should say, he only has himself to blame for that anyways. He keeps on noticing their similarities but keeps on shrugging it off. That's why I can't help but face palm every time he lets those things pass and instead scolds Buyeon for frustrating him.

I think that line("I am also starting to get confused about what it is that I truly want from you".) also means that He is confused whether he wants to die at her hands (the very reason he accepted her as his wife was to put the ice stone out of his body, which will lead him to die) Technically, he wanted her to kill him. But now, he wanna get embraced and conforted by her hands. He doesn't know anymore.

He really loves her enough to come clean of his hidden agenda and forget about his initial plan to die, or at the very least he's postponing it to be with her for a little longer and also for her to not be the one who'd end up killing him. I'm in tears now. This was all I needed, and it's more than enough of an assurance about how Uk truly feels now. Man doesn't know he's falling for her over again.

Don't get me wrong I still love the show. But I am a little disappointed that 80% (if not more) of the problems this season could be solved with basic communication. I think it's pretty clear at this point that the fire bird will get out and Uk and Naksu will die putting it back in its cage, or the very least Naksu will. Agree!! I don't understand why master Lee don't confront Jang Uk that Buyeon is Naksu. This 6 episode is such a wasted potential. They should wrapped up the loss memory things as soon as possible. I want more action scenes

Someone who has lost their memories is like a newborn, memories and experiences shape our personality. If she was acting like the Naksu we know from season 1, it wouldn’t make sense tbh.
There is simply no clear development moving forward to the plot of Part 2, In part 1 there is so much character development & interesting plot- Uk’s acceptance of his heritage & getting his power/ energy, Mudeok/ Naksu’s discovery of herself, their bickering and love against the world, Yul’s discovery of her long lost love, and Prince’s discovery of his love for Mudeok. They travel to different places like Dangyangkok, Songrim, Lake, Sari Village etc. In part 2- the plot is so dragging and boring- Yul & Uk’s characters are developed and concluded. All are just revolving the amnesia of Buyeon/Naksu,--NO character development. NO new characters-NO new places-NO scary villains. Everything is just remnants of the plots of the part 1. NOTHING IS NEW, nothing is being discovered. NOTHING is being developed. Its like they are stretching the show so slow without other clear plot line other than waiting for Buyeon’s recovery of her memory.
What makes season 2 interesting for me is that it is quite unpredictable. You will never know what will happen, although there are theories of a bad ending. But who know? Maybe both will have a happy ending or maybe they will have a bad end. It's the uncertainty that makes the second season good, despite not having new characters, no nothing. This is just an opinion and I respect yours. After all, everyone has different tastes in dramas hahah. I loved S1 very much and I'm loving S2 just as much.
Because part 1 is the beginning. The obvious character development and plot points were revealed in part 1. Just like any other piece of media. Part 2 is just the conclusion and everything depends on Naksu right now. The amnesia is dragged because the writers want Uk to fall in love with Buyeon-Naksu's personality without her trauma and suffering. He is falling in love with every version of her. And he is slowly giving up on death. Even tho I would prefer to watching her regaining her memories in episode like 4. Agree with that part, it got dragged. And in ep 6 we had a lot of important plot points like rite that Buyeon will do, fire bird, Songrim vs Cheongbugwan, Gowon's dilemma, the letter that was revealing Naksu's identity etc etc
Lol, I couldn't agree more with you. They should wrap the loss memory things in 4 episodes only. Focus on external theory like how they want to fight Jinmu and Cheonbugwan, how Cho Yeon going to accept that her sister is actually Naksu. I want to see more of the 4 Daeho fighting scenes
Completely agree. So tragic because S1 was great! If they continued writing S2 in that fashion AOS would be my top 5. Now I'm dragging myself to finish each episode it's simply sad.
This actress is not pretty compared to the previous one. I have yet to find out about her acting so I won't judge her acting before I watch, but I don't like the way she looks. The other actress had perfect lively face, I could feel the life within her character, while I see nothing like that in this actress. To bad, they had to change the actresses due to the script.

The amnesia is dragged because the writers want Uk to fall in love with Buyeon-Naksu's personality without her trauma and suffering. He is falling in love with every version of her. And he is slowly giving up on death. Even tho I would prefer to watching her regaining her memories in episode like 4. Agree with that part, it got dragged.
And in ep 6 we had a lot of important plot points like rite that Buyeon will do, fire bird, Songrim vs Cheongbugwan, Gowon's dilemma, the letter that was revealing Naksu's identity etc etc
Lol, I couldn't agree more with you. They should wrap the loss memory things in 4 episodes only. Focus on external theory like how they want to fight Jinmu and Cheonbugwan, how Cho Yeon going to accept that her sister is actually Naksu. I want to see more of the 4 Daeho fighting scenes

Completely agree. So tragic because S1 was great! If they continued writing S2 in that fashion AOS would be my top 5. Now I'm dragging myself to finish each episode it's simply sad.
This actress is not pretty compared to the previous one. I have yet to find out about her acting so I won't judge her acting before I watch, but I don't like the way she looks. The other actress had perfect lively face, I could feel the life within her character, while I see nothing like that in this actress. To bad, they had to change the actresses due to the script.
